Qualifications Required:

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar position within 4- or 5-star hotels or high-standard Restaurants
  • Sommelier certification or a similar qualification will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent command of the English language; additional languages will be considered an advantage

Duties:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service

    Chief Engineer

    We are currently looking for a Hotel Chief Engineer for Paphos Area

    Position Summary

    The Hotel Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of all building systems, facilities, equipment, and infrastructure while maintaining high guest satisfaction and compliance with safety regulations and brand standards.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    Engineering & Maintenance Operations

    • Direct and supervise all maintenance and engineering activities across the hotels.
    • Ensure proper functioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, kitchen, laundry, pools, elevators, and fire/life safety systems.
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
    • Respond quickly to emergency repair needs and operational disruptions.
    • Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
    • Oversee all hotel and restaurants renovation projects ensuring they are delivered on time and to scope

    Team Leadership

    • Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate the engineering and maintenance team.
    • Ensure staff compliance with safety procedures and operational standards.
    • Coordinate with department heads to support daily operations and guest service needs.
    • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    Budget & Asset Management

    • Prepare and manage the engineering department budget.
    • Control maintenance costs while maintaining service quality.
    • Source and manage contractors, vendors, and service providers.
    • Oversee inventory of tools, spare parts, and engineering supplies.
    • Plan and execute capital improvement projects and renovation

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum 5–10 years of engineering experience in hospitality, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Strong knowledge of hotel building systems and preventive maintenance practices.
    • Familiarity with CMMS/property maintenance systems.
    • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

              Resort Reservations Manager

              The Reservations Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the reservations team, ensuring the accurate recording and processing of all reservations, and maximising revenue through booking or upselling, cross selling processes. This role involves managing a team and conducting audits to uphold departmental standards. Reservations Manager will manage schedules, training plans, maintaining tee & room availability and resolving escalated issues. The manager will actively liaise with guests, contracted partners and resort operations teams to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest service.

                

              Key Duties/Responsibilities:

               

                        Lead and support the reservations team, ensuring established procedures are adhered to and high standards of customer service.

                        Create, manage, and adjust work schedules to ensure adequate coverage for departmental operating days/ times

                        Facilitate regular team meetings to share updates, address challenges, and provide feedback on performance and departmental goals.

                        Prepare training & development plans & conduct the training of reservation team members, ensuring comprehensive knowledge of all resort reservation systems, facilities and procedures relating to the scope of their work.

                        Receives contract rates and inputs the data in relevant PMS systems (rates, allotments, expiry date, GDS codes, Debtor numbers etc.)

                        Enters all reservations for Golf, Sports, Hotel, Rentals, Practice Facilities and review reservation entries daily to ensure booking are entered correctly

                        Daily check of blocks in the system and provide a weekly report of upcoming allotment blocks (for the next 3 months) with suggested actions

                        Attends to enquiries, assists with complaints and requests regarding reservations

                        Maintains a correct filing system and archive for all correspondence

               Requirements and Qualifications:

                         Working experience of at least 2-3 years at a similar managerial position.

                        Proficiency in reservations systems and Microsoft tools

                        Team leadership and training skills

                        Excellent knowledge of English language. Other languages would be considered as an advantage.
