Your Role

Job vacancy: Transfer Pricing Tax Manager

K. Treppides & Co Ltd, the Largest Independent Consultant Cyprus-based International Firm, is currently hiring Transfer Pricing Tax Manager to join our Nicosia Office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are looking to develop and bring their career to the next level by becoming TP tax professionals within a leading and well-known firm. The successfully placed candidate will be able to identify controlled transactions between related parties, partnering with multiple stakeholders to provide support on transfer pricing related issues, perform functional, economic and benchmarking analysis and reporting for various transactions, prepare and maintain TP records and prepare reports and presentations based on the findings. 

What we are looking for:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Transfer Pricing and/or tax advisory.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Cyprus TP legislation and OECD Guidelines.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Client-focused mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Transfer Pricing professionals.
  • Review and approve work prepared by junior team members, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Manage client engagements and act as the main contact for TP matters.
  • Oversee Transfer Pricing documentation, functional and economic analyses
  • Support TP audits and lead APA/ruling processes.
  • Provide strategic advice on TP implications for business activities.
  • Identify opportunities and contribute to the growth of the TP practice.

INTERNAL ACCOUNTANT

Annual Gross Salary Range: €19,500 - €28,600

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions
  • Receives, approves, and, when necessary, investigates client's accounts payable invoices
  • Communicates (both in verbal and written form) with clients, client suppliers, vendors, and banking contacts
  • Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments 
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Checking company’s bank statements
  • Preparing cash flow statements and trial balance statement
  • Dealing with financial paperwork and filing

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Finance and/or Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar role
  • CAT Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills
  • Work under pressure, prioritize and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of accounting software
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)

  • Co-operate with the Financial, Taxation and Financial Regulation and Advisory Department in completion of client needs in Financial Reporting and Tax Assignments
  • Perform other job-related duties as necessary

TAX SUPERVISOR

Nicosia

Annual Gross Salary Range: €26,000 - €35,100

Final salary will depend on qualifications, skills, and experience, in line with our transparent pay structure.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing a portfolio of clients in relation to Corporate Taxation assignments
  • Managing a team of Taxation consultants and responsible for their time management
  • Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews
  • Responsible for the technical development of the team members
  • Ability to interpret Income Tax Law and apply it as required
  • Providing Taxation consulting and advice to clients
  • Review/preparation of tax compliance deliverables
  • Identifying potential tax risks that a client may face and advise clients on local and international tax structures
  • Preparation of letters/reports/rulings of opinion in relation to Taxation matters that will need to be submitted to the clients and/or to the Cyprus Tax Department
  • Liaise with and manage the working relationship with Cyprus Tax Department in relation to routine tax audits
  • Managing ad hoc tax enquiries on behalf of a portfolio of clients
  • Perform Tax audits on clients and be able to prepare reports with relevant findings and proposals for rectifying any errors identified
  • Oversee the efforts of multiple client engagements, plan, execute, direct, and complete tax assignments in a wide variety of industries and jurisdictions
  • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively
  • Preparation and presentation of seminars to both clients and colleagues.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics/ Law/ Mathematics or any other related field from a reputable university.
  • ACA/ACCA/AUDIT qualified.
  • 3 years of experience in TAX related position.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Cyprus tax legislation.
  • Excellent knowledge of the provisions of Double Tax Treaties and EU tax directives and international tax should be considered as an advantage.
  • Able to study and understand the laws related to the direct taxation of Cyprus as well as other jurisdictions.
