TAX (TRANSFER PRICING) CONSULTANT

Treppides & Co Ltd the Largest Independent Consultant, a Cyprus-based International Firm, is expanding the Transfer Pricing team in our Tax Department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking to develop and bring their careers to the next level by becoming TP tax professionals within a leading and well-known firm. The successfully placed candidate will be able to identify controlled transactions between related parties, partner with multiple stakeholders to provide support on transfer pricing-related issues, perform functional, economic, and benchmarking analysis and reporting for various transactions, prepare and maintain TP records and prepare reports and presentations based on the findings.

We are looking for candidates with up to 4 years of relevant experience to join us in our Nicosia or Limassol offices.

 

Entry Requirements:

  • BSc in Economics, Accounting / Finance, Law, or any other relevant field
  • Excellent use of Greek and English languages
  • IT literate
  • Enthusiastic Team player
  • ACCA/CFA/ADIT Trainee program is available (not a requirement for the position)
  • 0-4 years of experience in relevant position

 

Responsibilities:

  • Involved in the Company’s Transfer Pricing projects.
  • Perform functional, economic, and benchmarking analyses for various transactions with related parties.
  • Preparation of reports and presentations based on the findings and work carried out.
  • Managing and preparing Transfer Pricing documentation to support intra-group transactions in compliance with local regulations.
  • Develop an understanding of complex Transfer Pricing concepts and effectively apply economic and financial knowledge to client situations.
  • Assist with application for and negotiation of rulings and Advanced Pricing Agreements (APAs) where clients would like up-front certainty on Transfer Pricing positions.
  • Support Transfer Pricing audits, including responding to tax authorities on matters or queries relating to Transfer Pricing.
  • Identify Transfer Pricing Opportunities within the organization.
  • Stay up to date and be able to share the updates within the team regarding new Transfer Pricing updates.
  • Develop new initiatives and functions that support the Transfer Pricing practice.
  • Conduct regular internal reviews of Transfer Pricing policies in accordance with the latest tax regulation developments.

INTERNAL AML & COMPLIANCE ASSISTANT

Nicosia

K. Treppides & Co Ltd, the Largest Independent Consultant Cyprus based International Firm is currently hiring for a Compliance Assistant to join our Internal AML Compliance Department in Nicosia. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performance of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Client Due Diligence (CDD) Procedures
  • Ensure that adequate customer KYC/AML records are maintained 
  • Prepare and maintain internal reports for all reviewed customers performing risk assessment
  • Screening all clients (PEP database, sanction lists etc.) and assessing potential results
  • Review and advise on the regulatory compliance implications of internal policies and procedures
  • Monitoring the activities of the company for adherence to the AML Directive and other relevant Laws and reporting to the Compliance Officer
  • Responsible for administrating the company’s Internal Control Management system
  • Liaising with all the firm’s departments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Developing compliance training materials

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Law from a reputable university
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the AML/KYC/Compliance field
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek language
  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal
  • Excellent Command of Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Excellent reading and understanding of the EU and National legislation regarding AML/CFT, sanctions etc.

JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to assist in the planning, execution, and completion of projects in our ICT team. The ideal candidate will guide our clients through governance, risks, and compliance (GRC) projects as well  

Furthermore, the ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams, engage with key stakeholders and act as a point of contact, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects by ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining the project’s scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Help develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and budget forecasts.
  • Ensure project alignment with customer strategies, compliance standards, and service goals.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Conduct functional walk-throughs with various stakeholders.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including business units, technology teams, technology providers, vendors, and regulatory bodies (EBA, CySEC, CBC etc.).

  • Ensure proper documentation for audit purposes, particularly around compliance and data security. 

Job Requirements:

  • Good understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.).
  • Ability to understand and analyse business processes.
  • Ability to identify and communicate potential risks related to systems, people, technology, and operational disruptions.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to assist in resolving issues related to technical challenges, stakeholder disagreements, or resource constraints.

Qualifications:

  • BSc and/or MSc in Mathematics, Law, Business Studies, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Desirable Certifications: MAPM, Scrum Master, PMP, Prince2.
  • Any other professional certification will be considered as advantage.

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ICT Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in assessing and managing Information Security risks, recommending technology solutions, developing security strategies, and ensuring clients' IT environments align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

What to Expect in your Role:
