The Role

The Operations Assistant will ensure his/her daily presence on the company’s transport network to control and check the smooth running of the service and communicate any execution issues that might arise in the transport operations under his/her responsibility.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Promoting excellence in the provision of all services by sustaining high service levels of services and maximizing revenue.
• Ensuring compliance with policies, and procedures.
• Reviewing reports and KPIs to identify trends and propose solutions that can help improve the overall planning, execution, and cost-effectiveness of the service.
• Helping to Control the daily transport operations, taking care of and solving incidents and circumstances that occur in the area he/she supervises.
• Liaising and cooperating with the team present in the Bus Station, Planning Department, and Control Room to ensure that service levels are maintained.
• Cooperating with the Operations Director / Area Manager in any tasks and ad-hoc projects as deemed necessary.

Requirements

Must–Have’s:

• University Graduates
• Experience with Microsoft 365 package, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication skills. Proficient in English and Greek languages.
• Results-oriented, analytical, organized, and methodical.

Η θέση:

Βασικά καθήκοντα και ευθύνες:

• Να πουλάει όλα τα διαθέσιμα εισιτήρια και να πιστώνει την κάρτα Motion από τα διάφορα σημεία πώλησης.
• Να διαχειρίζεται μετρητά, πιστώσεις σε κάρτες, και την διαδικασία κλεισίματος συναλλαγών κάθε τέλος της βάρδιας σύμφωνα με την τρέχουσα πολιτική πωλήσεων.
• Να διατηρεί τα αποθέματα εισιτηρίων και οποιονδήποτε άλλων υλών απαιτούνται για την αποτελεσματική εκτέλεση των καθηκόντων.
• Να ανταποκρίνεται σε ερωτήσεις πελατών και να μεγιστοποιεί την ικανοποίηση των πελατών.
• Να κοινοποιεί αποτελεσματικά τις πολιτικές της εταιρείας στους πελάτες και να διασφαλίζει ενημερωμένη και ακριβείς γνώση των διαδικασιών, σύμφωνα με τις αναθεωρήσεις και ενημερώσεις της εταιρείας.
• Να προβάλει μια ασφαλή και φιλόξενη στάση απέναντι στους πελάτες.
• Η θέση θα περιλαμβάνει την εργασία σε βάρδιες συμπεριλαμβανομένων νυχτερινών ωρών, Σαββατοκύριακα και αργίες.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Be knowledgeable of Cyprus Public Transport as a company and the services it provides to its customers.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and organized Controller to oversee and coordinate daily transportation operations. The successful candidate will ensure smooth and efficient service delivery through real-time monitoring, effective communication with drivers, prompt incident management, and adherence to company policies and standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining service quality, optimizing performance, and fostering a positive, motivated work environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

·        Continuously monitoring transportation operations and promptly addressing and resolving any incidents, issues, or changes that may arise during services.

·        Collaborating with drivers and other stakeholders to ensure services align with planned schedules and minimize any service disruptions.

·        Receiving, collecting, and processing information regarding incidents, problems, and changes in daily transport services.

·        Liaising with drivers in real-time to provide guidance and support during incidents while prioritizing safety.

·        Ensuring drivers are fully informed about their assigned services and any relevant operational information.

·        Utilizing tracking systems and other technological tools to monitor and optimize transportation operations.

·        Identifying patterns and trends in incidents to improve service levels over time.

The Role

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to oversee and coordinate workshop operations, ensuring the efficient maintenance of the fleet and compliance with road traffic safety standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing workshop performance, driving continuous improvement, fostering a culture of excellence, and supporting the company’s broader operational goals. Main duties and responsibilities include, among others.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Identifying and implementing technical and operational solutions for existing challenges in the workshop and fleet, including analysing systematic failures and preparing reports for resolution.
• Establishing a comprehensive inspection plan for the fleet to ensure road traffic safety, coordinating with operations to schedule planned inspections and required maintenance.
• Participating in the annual budgeting process, monitoring the consumption of parts, labour, and other costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Supervising payment procedures to external suppliers, ensuring all approvals have been granted by the Engineering Director.
• Monitoring the output and productivity of workshop staff, ensuring efficient material usage and adherence to operational procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with security policies, data protection, health & safety, road traffic safety, quality assurance, and environmental protection within workshop operations.
• Conducting risk assessments in coordination with the Health & Safety department and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
• Identifying staff training needs and making appropriate recommendations for skill development.
• Preparing technical reports and improvement proposals for review and approval by the Engineering Director.
• Addressing threats and opportunities that could impact the company’s environmental and road traffic safety performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of proven working experience in workshop management or a related role.
• Strong technical expertise in fleet maintenance, and workshop operations.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify problems, and propose effective solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in diagnostic tools and systems for evaluating and resolving active code errors in electronic systems.
• Knowledge of Euro VI engines is highly desirable.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, Environmental Protection, and Occupational Health & Safety is highly desirable.
• Excellent command of the English and Greek languages, both verbal and written.

Ο οδηγός λεωφορείου θα πρέπει να διασφαλίζει την επαγγελματική και υπεύθυνη οδήγηση του λεωφορείου, ακολουθώντας τις πολιτικές της εταιρείας.

Βασικά καθήκοντα και ευθύνες

• Να εκτελεί τη διαδρομή σύμφωνα με το πρόγραμμα και εντός του αναμενόμενου χρονικού πλαισίου.
• Να ενημερώνει το Κέντρο Ελέγχου για οποιοδήποτε περιστατικό/πρόβλημα που μπορεί να προκύψει κατά την παροχή της υπηρεσίας.
• Να ελέγχει την τεχνική κατάσταση του οχήματος και του εξοπλισμού στο εσωτερικό του, μέσω καθημερινών ελέγχων ρουτίνας, καταγράφοντας οποιεσδήποτε πιθανές ανωμαλίες.
• Να διασφαλίζει την ασφάλεια των επιβατών και των άλλων οδηγών που χρησιμοποιούν το οδικό δίκτυο.
• Να διασφαλίζει την συμμόρφωση με τους κανόνες και τις πολιτικές ασφάλειας και υγείας.

Bus Drivers

Cyprus Public Transport is currently looking to hire professional bus drivers, on a full-time or part-time employment basis, for Nicosia and Larnaca districts.

Role definition and main objective

The Bus Driver shall ensure to professionally and responsibly drive the bus, following the company's policies. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• To carry out the route as per the itinerary and in the expected timeframe.
• To communicate to the Control Room any incidence/problem that was produced during the service.
• To check the technical condition of the vehicle and the equipment on board by means of daily (routine) checks, identifying in the Defect Sheet any possible anomalies/abnormalities.
• To safeguard the passengers’ safety and that of other drivers using the road network.
• To safeguard compliance with the norms and policies for Health and Safety.

Qualifications and Experience

• Professional license (Valid CPC qualification).
• Valid “D” category driving license.
• Tachograph card.
• Clean Criminal record.
• Ability to communicate both in Greek and English.

• Ensure that repairs carried out on vehicles have followed all safety procedures and are in accordance with ISO and government standard requirements
• Manage and supervise the work of Semi-Skilled Technicians

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical School or Higher Technical Institute (ATI) or HND Diploma in mechanics / mechanical engineering
• 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working with Euro 6 engines is highly desirable
• Experience replacing gear boxes and engines is highly desirable
• Experience with diagnostic equipment will be considered an advantage
• Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite and of Greek and English language
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Energetic and positive team player with strong organisational skills
• Willingness to work shifts

• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and circuits
• Manage and supervise the work of Semi-Skilled Technicians
• Ability to perform specialized works on AC systems will be considered an advantage

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical School or Higher Technical Institute (ATI) or HND Diploma in electronic and electrical engineering
• 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working with Euro 6 engines is highly desirable
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite and of Greek and English language
• Ability to perform under pressure

• Willingness to work shifts
