The Role

Cyprus Public Transport is seeking to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to support the Company’s legal and compliance activities, including contract review, corporate filings, and day-to-day legal matters.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements (e.g. supply agreements, lease agreements, MoUs).
  • Monitoring contract renewals and maintaining an up-to-date contracts register.

Technical Office Administrator

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Office Administrator to join our Engineering Department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a technical environment, with a mix of administrative duties and data analysis, supporting the team with reporting, KPI tracking, and the day-to-day running of a busy workshop operation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the creation, reporting, and analysis of the department's KPIs, including ECK calculations and related queries.
  • Carrying out technical analysis of workshop consumptions to identify potential problems and developing findings into reports for the Deputy Engineering Director and Engineering Director.
  • Assisting with the preparation of the department's annual budget, including midpoint and monthly expense reports with year-to-date (YTD) comparisons.
  • Creating weekly and monthly reports on vehicle breakdowns, maintenance progress, and repairs, as well as any additional reports requested by the Deputy Engineering Director and Engineering Director.

Qualifications and Skills

  •  Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in a Technical Office or similar environment; experience in logistics or transport will be considered an advantage.

Περιγραφή θέσης εργασίας

Ο οδηγός λεωφορείου θα πρέπει να διασφαλίζει την επαγγελματική και υπεύθυνη οδήγηση του λεωφορείου, ακολουθώντας τις πολιτικές της εταιρείας.

Βασικά καθήκοντα και ευθύνες

  • Να εκτελεί τη διαδρομή σύμφωνα με το πρόγραμμα και εντός του αναμενόμενου χρονικού πλαισίου.
  • Να ενημερώνει το Κέντρο Ελέγχου για οποιοδήποτε περιστατικό/πρόβλημα που μπορεί να προκύψει κατά την παροχή της υπηρεσίας.
  • Να ελέγχει την τεχνική κατάσταση του οχήματος και του εξοπλισμού στο εσωτερικό του, μέσω καθημερινών ελέγχων ρουτίνας, καταγράφοντας οποιεσδήποτε πιθανές ανωμαλίες.

Cyprus Public Transport is currently looking to hire professional bus drivers, on a full-time or part-time employment basis, for Nicosia and Larnaca districts.

Role definition and main objective

The Bus Driver shall ensure to professionally and responsibly drive the bus, following the company's policies. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To carry out the route as per the itinerary and in the expected timeframe.
  • To communicate to the Control Room any incidence/problem that was produced during the service.
  • To check the technical condition of the vehicle and the equipment on board by means of daily (routine) checks, identifying in the Defect Sheet any possible anomalies/abnormalities.
  • To safeguard the passengers’ safety and that of other drivers using the road network.
  • To safeguard compliance with the norms and policies for Health and Safety.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Professional license (Valid CPC qualification).
  • Valid “D” category driving license.
  • Tachograph card.
  • Clean Criminal record.
  • Ability to communicate both in Greek and English.

  • Experience replacing gear boxes and engines is highly desirable
  • Experience with diagnostic equipment will be considered an advantage
  • Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite and of Greek and English language

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to oversee and coordinate workshop operations, ensuring the efficient maintenance of the fleet and compliance with road traffic safety standards. Main duties and responsibilities include, among others.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifying and implementing technical and operational solutions for existing challenges in the workshop and fleet, including analysing systematic failures and preparing reports for resolution.
  • Establishing a comprehensive inspection plan for the fleet to ensure road traffic safety, coordinating with operations to schedule planned inspections and required maintenance.
  • Participating in the annual budgeting process, monitoring the consumption of parts, labour, and other costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Supervising payment procedures to external suppliers, ensuring all approvals have been granted by the Engineering Director.
  • Monitoring the output and productivity of workshop staff, ensuring efficient material usage and adherence to operational procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with security policies, data protection, health & safety, road traffic safety, quality assurance, and environmental protection within workshop operations.
  • Conducting risk assessments in coordination with the Health & Safety department and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Identifying staff training needs and making appropriate recommendations for skill development.
  • Preparing technical reports and improvement proposals for review and approval by the Engineering Director.
  • Addressing threats and opportunities that could impact the company’s environmental and road traffic safety performance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of proven working experience in workshop management or a related role.
  • Strong technical expertise in fleet maintenance, and workshop operations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify problems, and propose effective solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools and systems for evaluating and resolving active code errors in electronic systems.
  • Knowledge of Euro VI engines is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance, Environmental Protection, and Occupational Health & Safety is highly desirable.
