About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software solutions by designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to the successful delivery of complex projects across a range of technologies and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, and detailed test scripts for the dot.Hospitality, based on business requirements, knowledge transfer sessions, and functional documentation.
- Perform end-to-end testing across front-end and back-end components of dot.Hospitality, covering key hospitality processes.
- Execute regression, integration, and UAT support testing for new features, enhancements, and releases within the dot.Hospitality platform.
- Validate integrations between dot.Hospitality and external systems (e.g. PMS, F&B, Spa etc) and ensure data accuracy and unification.
- Log, track, and manage defects, ensuring proper documentation, traceability, and timely resolution.
- Analyse and prioritize defects based on severity, business impact, and guest experience implications.
- Perform basic configuration and setup within test environments, as part of testing process.
- Provide regular reporting (daily, sprint-based) on testing progress, including execution status, defects overview, and potential risks.
- Collaborate closely, ensuring clear communication, with the Professional Services (PS) and Research & Development (R&D) teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Stay continuously informed on product updates, release scope, and evolving requirements within the dot.Hospitality product.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and potential automations within the dot.Hospitality product.
Requirements:
Academic Requirements
- University or College degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or any other technical field which is relevant to Quality Assurance.
Professional Requirements/Technical Skills
- Proven experience in testing software applications, preferably within Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments.
- Hands-on experience in UI/UX and usability testing, ensuring intuitive user experience.
- Experience in testing responsive web applications and email templates, including validation of layouts, rendering, and cross-device compatibility.
- Familiarity with testing Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys, including segmentation and customer journey execution, is considered an advantage.
Organisational & Communication Skills
- Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written, enabling clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of complex projects.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate efficiently within cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules and/or Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.
- Exposure to vertical solutions within the hospitality and leisure industry.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and integration testing concepts.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and working within sprint-based delivery teams.
