Job Title: Project Manager - Signage and Furniture Manufacturing

Job Description:

On behalf of our client operating in the industry of signage and furniture construction for commercial clients, we are looking to recruit a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and be responsible for managing project quotations, production coordination, production scheduling, material sourcing and client communication. This role is crucial for ensuring our signage and furniture manufacturing projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Quotations: Develop detailed and accurate project quotations based on client requirements and technical specifications. Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Material Sourcing: Identify and source materials required for signage and furniture production, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and prices.
  • Production Coordination: Work closely with the production team to ensure projects are executed according to plan and meet standards. Monitor production processes to ensure quality and address any issues promptly.
  • Production Scheduling: Create and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of projects. Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in project scope or timelines and communicate updates to the Management.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates on project progress, address any concerns, and ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects on time and within specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Proven experience in project management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in furniture and/or signage production.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management planning tools.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
