Property Enforcement Officer – Legal Issues

 

Themis Portfolio Management Ltd is a specialized servicer of non-performing loans. The company is currently growing and is seeking to recruit a “Property Enforcement Officer – Legal Issues” at our office in Nicosia.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Company’s external Legal Associates for the immediate handling of any application appeals or interim order applications relating to the foreclosure of mortgaged properties process.
  • Ensure that all supportive documentation required for successfully defending our case upon Court with relation to application appeals or interim orders, is duly and timely provided to our external Legal Advisor.
  • Close co-operation with the Company’s Legal Department where needed for the handling of the above.
  • Promptly handle any requests from Company Stakeholders for limited grant and alternative servicing applications, through our external Legal Associates.
  • Monitor on a systematical manner the progress of the above-mentioned applications.
  • Ensure that the Company’s systems are duly updated where applicable.
  • Maintain a register with all the applications submitted.
  • Assist in the processing of legal invoices relating to the legal proceedings mentioned above.
  • Upon availability, undertake any other task relating to the foreclosure of a mortgaged property assigned by the Manager of the Foreclosure Unit.
  • Provide assistance to Enforcement Services Management, as for the implementation of the provisions of any new legislation affecting the foreclosure process.
  • Be updated and implement the regulations/procedures/circulars related to the processes of the department.

 

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Law
  • Minimum two years of prior experience in position relating to the foreclosure of a mortgaged property process
  • Ability to manage high volumes of requests in an efficient and timely manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and writing
  • Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken
