Themis Portfolio Management Limited is a specialized servicer of non-performing loans. The company is seeking to recruit Property Enforcement Manager in Nicosia.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the operations of the Property Enforcement Unit to ensure foreclosure proceedings comply with legislative frameworks.
  • Review and approve new foreclosure proposals based on the internal approving limits.
  • Collaborate closely with the Loan Asset Management Units (LAM) on case handling and provide technical support as needed.
  • Manage the operations of external vendors providing foreclosure services to the Company.
  • Support internal and external teams in managing complex cases.
  • Ensure that all systems are duly updated.
  • Deliver on annual targets assigned.
  • Liaise with external Vendors to resolve arising issues promptly.  
  • Participate in the negotiation and preparation of contracts for any new outsourcing engagement.
  • Present proposals related to Unit operations upon relevant Ccommittees, and deliver presentations as required.
  • Act as the primary liaison for foreclosure issues with external entities such as the Central Bank and ACB E-Auctions.
  • Ensure that the designated reports on the status of the foreclosure process, are timely delivered to the various stakeholders, including any regulatory reports.
  •     Work closely with the Legal Department and external legal advisors to analyse the impact of new legislation and obtain legal opinions on significant issues affecting the foreclosure process.

     ·    Incorporate legislative amendments affecting the foreclosure process into the Company’s procedures, policies, and systems.

  • Participate in regular and ad hoc committees as recommended by the Head of the department and approved by the Company’s Executive Committee.
  • Manage risks related to Unit operations and ensure incidents are reported timely and accurately in line with Company policies.
  • Oversee the handling of foreclosure-related legal matters (e.g., application appeals) in collaboration with external legal associates and LAM Units to safeguard the Company’s interests.
  • Stay updated on and implement regulations, procedures, and circulars relevant to the Unit’s operations.

 

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in the areas of Business, Economics, Finance or Banking.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the banking sector and preferably, in the area of credit.
  • At least 10 years of managerial experience with large teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness, ability to work well under pressure and efficiently manage time and priorities.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Any prior experience in a similar position would be considered as an advantage.
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken.
