Themis Portfolio Management Limited is a specialized servicer of non-performing loans. The company is seeking to recruit Property Enforcement Manager in Nicosia.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the operations of the Property Enforcement Unit to ensure foreclosure proceedings comply with legislative frameworks.
  • Review and approve new foreclosure proposals based on the internal approving limits.
  • Collaborate closely with the Loan Asset Management Units (LAM) on case handling and provide technical support as needed.
  • Manage the operations of external vendors providing foreclosure services to the Company.
  • Support internal and external teams in managing complex cases.
  • Ensure that all systems are duly updated.
  • Deliver on annual targets assigned.
  • Liaise with external Vendors to resolve arising issues promptly.  
  • Participate in the negotiation and preparation of contracts for any new outsourcing engagement.
  • Present proposals related to Unit operations upon relevant Ccommittees, and deliver presentations as required.
  • Act as the primary liaison for foreclosure issues with external entities such as the Central Bank and ACB E-Auctions.
  • Ensure that the designated reports on the status of the foreclosure process, are timely delivered to the various stakeholders, including any regulatory reports.
  •     Work closely with the Legal Department and external legal advisors to analyse the impact of new legislation and obtain legal opinions on significant issues affecting the foreclosure process.

     ·    Incorporate legislative amendments affecting the foreclosure process into the Company’s procedures, policies, and systems.

  • Participate in regular and ad hoc committees as recommended by the Head of the department and approved by the Company’s Executive Committee.
  • Manage risks related to Unit operations and ensure incidents are reported timely and accurately in line with Company policies.
  • Oversee the handling of foreclosure-related legal matters (e.g., application appeals) in collaboration with external legal associates and LAM Units to safeguard the Company’s interests.
  • Stay updated on and implement regulations, procedures, and circulars relevant to the Unit’s operations.

 

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in the areas of Business, Economics, Finance or Banking.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the banking sector and preferably, in the area of credit.
  • At least 10 years of managerial experience with large teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness, ability to work well under pressure and efficiently manage time and priorities.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Any prior experience in a similar position would be considered as an advantage.
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken.

Themis Portfolio Management Limited is a specialized servicer of non-performing loans. The company is currently growing and is seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer at our office in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be reporting to Head of Compliance & AML.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Complaint management and handling
  • Review and register all complaints received
  • Assign criticality ratings to received complaints, in line with approved Policy provisions
  • Manage the communication process between the complainant and Themis
  • Monitor and manage progress of complaints handling and follow up provision of responses within Policy-set deadlines
  • Escalate critical Complaints to the Head of the Department
  • Prepare and submit regulatory and internally-focused complaints handling and status reports to management for review and approval
  • Communication with regulatory authorities (e.g. Central Bank, Financial Ombudsman)

 

 Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Economics, or any other relevant background
  • Two years of prior experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding and knowledge of the Company’s (i.e. the Servicer’s) processes and procedures across NPL, REO and Legal Measures / Foreclosures
  • Good command of technology and use of systems, including MS Office applications (experience using QUALCO is advantageous)
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage several open cases at the same time
  • Coordination skills, especially during collaboration with members of the senior management
  • Calm and professional demeanor during communications with customers and colleagues
  • Sound judgement in handling (often sensitive) customer matters

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Loan Asset Management Officer by:
    • Responding to daily customer requests
    • Updating customer details and tracking / verifying information
    • Recording of customers' financial statements in the appropriate software
    • Recording of customer data/balances in Gap Statement
    • Update and monitoring actions related to handling of customers through Qualco system
    • Preparation of the necessary supporting documents submission of Credit Proposal to Approving Authorities

  • Be informed, comply with and implement the "Debt Management Directive" of the Central Bank of Cyprus, the Regulatory Compliance instructions, the Security Regulations, as well as the various Circulars, Instructions and Procedures of the Company, related to his/her duties

 

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Banking or any other relevant background
  • Minimum of two years of prior experience in a similar position
  • Previous experience of banking software would be considered as an advantage
  • Ability to manage a high volume of calls, efficiently and professionally
  • Strong commercial awareness, ability to work well under pressure and efficiently manage time and priorities
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and writing
  • Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken

Responsibilities:

  • Handling of assigned customer groups and providing service to borrowers as to ensure the smooth running of the daily operations.
  • Research/collect information and update/monitor actions and customer data. Be responsible to maintain updated data at all times.
  • Analyse financial statements, assessthe financial condition of debtors and drawconclusions about the possibility of a restructuring/settlement agreement and prospects of debt recovery.
  • Suggest optimum solutions based on financial analysis
  • Arrange meetings with clients, lawyers, accountants and intermediaries, negotiate solutions for restructuring/settlement of facilities
  • Negotiate with clients, lawyers, accountants and intermediaries in a timely manner the terms of settlement /recovery strategies in order to reach a final agreement.
  • Maintain communication channels with Approving Authorities, other Company functions, valuation offices, law firms and client consultants, as to achieve consensual solutions or progress collection measures.
  • Monitor restructured facilities and compliance with the terms of agreements
  • Monitor and coordinate the process of issuing court decisions in cooperation with Court Officers and Lawyers. Give instructions to lawyers about the initiation of collection measures as per available Laws.
  • Guide and support Assistant Officers in setting priorities, collecting data and preparing assigned requests/
  • Maintain communication with customers, solve problems and handle complaints, in order to maintain the quality of service according to Company standards.
