Themis Portfolio Management Ltd is a specialized servicer of non-performing loans. The company is currently growing and is seeking to recruit a System Administrator at our office in Nicosia.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as technical point of contact, ensuring data integrity maintenance, system modifications, process documentation, document maintenance, system audits.
  • Review business procedures/workflows to ensure system features are being fully utilized and identify features that may improve efficiency.
  • Perform analysis into root cause of problems and resolve as appropriate (in collaboration with the vendor).
  • Oversee the process of change requests in collaboration with vendor
  • Act as point person for upgrades/releases, fixes, testing and other technical projects.
  • User maintenance (onboarding, offboarding & changes)
  • Review and handle issues identified and / or reported by users and oversee the process until these are resolved and act as single point of contact between business users and vendor.
  • Provide support to business users and arrange and implement training for the system application, where needed.
  • Oversee the data analytics and reporting of the platform, ensuring all business needs are met.
  • Assist with migration of data to the system application, including data cleansing, where required.
  • Assist with API requirements for the system application, liaising with all vendors where required.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or Software Systems
  • At least four years’ experience providing support to end users
  • Experience within the financial sector is preferred but not a requirement
  • Understanding of S/W development lifecycle, QA processes, IT change management, issue and problem management.
  • Understanding of security groups and roles and assignment of those roles
  • Understanding of system architecture components in a multi-tier, multi-platform systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Demonstrates high initiative, and personal drive within a team environment
  • Able to manage workload and time according to deadlines set
  • Ability to function effectively with minimal supervision in a high-demand environment
  • Adapt to change effectively, always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve professional success in a consulting environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language, written and spoken

Themis Portfolio Management Ltd is a specialized servicer of non-performing loans. The company is currently growing and is seeking to recruit a Legal Senior Officer in Nicosia.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with the day-to-day requests from different departments.
  • Drafting of settlement arrangements with borrowers and providing legal opinions on the handling of specific cases as well as on general principles of law.
  • Review agreements with third parties and provide legal opinions on the matters relating to corporate, contract, real estate and employment law.
  • Liaise with external lawyers for matters relating to litigation.
  • Conduct thorough research to support business decisions and strategies.
  • Assist in reviewing the legal material and any other relevant documents and identify the most important issues that need to be sorted out on a priority basis.
  • Oversee the preparation and drafting of different acts and legal submissions and draft the authoritative legal opinions. Identify business needs regarding the creation of suite of loan servicing templates, agreements and contracts.
  • Remain continuously updated and report on primary and subsidiary legislation by the Central Bank of Cyprus and guidelines, as well as on any EU law affecting the operation of the company.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in Law
  • Cyprus Bar qualification
  • Minimum of three years prior experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of banking rule and regulations would be considered as an advantage.
  • Strong commercial awareness, ability to work well under pressure and efficiently manage time and priorities.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and writing
  • Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken.

Loan Asset Management Unit Manager

 

Themis Portfolio Management Ltd is a specialized servicer of non-performing loans. The company is currently growing and is seeking to recruit Loan Asset Management Unit Manager at our office in Nicosia.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Distribute customer groups to LAM Officers, determines the goals, priorities, and schedules of each according to the strategy of the Unit, in order to submit requests for debt recovery timely.
  • Maintain communication with clients/lawyers/accountants/intermediaries, solve problems and handle complaints in order to maintain quality of service according to the standards of the Company.
  • Participate with Officers in meetingswith clients, lawyers, accountants and intermediaries, negotiate solutions for restructuring/settlement of facilities, including the issuance of court decisions, with the aim of collecting debt and maximizing revenue for the company.
  • Review and evaluate requests for restructuring, foreclosures or appointment of Receiver/ Administrator/ Liquidator, in order to collect and reduce non-performing liabilities.
  • Monitor the progress of pending decisions by Approving Authorities as well as the progress of other tasks with aim their timely completion.
  • Negotiate with clients, lawyers, accountants and intermediaries in a timely manner the terms of settlement /recovery strategies in order to reach a final agreement.
  • Monitor the restructured financing repayments as the terms of the restructuring agreement, in order to make them serviced and to be transferred timely to LAM Department.
  • Be informed, comply with, and implement the "Arrears Management Directive" of the Central Bank of Cyprus and other relevant instructions of the Company, in order to ensure that all the members of the Team comply.
  • Direct, coordinate and supervise the timely response to emergency tasks/ campaigns required by various authorities/ departments such as Central Bank, external advisors/ auditors, Regulatory Compliance, Operational Risk, Internal Audit as well as any other tasks assigned by the Head of Loan Asset Management Department.

 

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Banking or any other relevant background
  • Minimum of five years of prior experience in a similar position and/or proven ability to manage a team of 8-10 people
  • Knowledge of banking industry rules and regulations, primarily in the areas of credit or recoveries
  • Ability to manage a high volume of calls, efficiently and professionally
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong commercial awareness, ability to work well under pressure and efficiently manage time and priorities
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and writing
