Career Opportunity
We are looking for a Payroll Supervising Senior to join our team in Athens. This role involves supervising payroll junior members, maintaining compliance with Greek labour and acting as a key point of contact for clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end payroll process for various clients.
- Consul and propose solutions to payroll issues to clients.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of payroll administrators and junior team members.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding payroll matters, resolving queries and providing guidance.
- Ensure timely submission of payroll-related filings and declarations.
- Stay up to date with changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary updates to processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience in payroll
- Knowledge of labor and social security legislation and the information system of the Hellenic Ministry of labor, social security and Welfare
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
- Knowledge of Payroll Programs and MS office
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
