Grant Thornton’s Digital Risk Services (DRS) team is currently seeking a driven and self-motivated professionals with passion and experience in Cybersecurity Advisory, IT Internal / IT External audit, Third Party Controls reporting, IT Regulator reviews, Information Security Risk Management and Compliance to join the team in Cyprus.

Main Responsibilities
The role will place you at the heart of a high-energy, agile team that is committed to helping clients navigate the ever-changing IS / IT risk landscape. Our key areas of focus include Cybersecurity reviews, IT general control reviews as part of financial audits, Third Party controls reporting (ISAE3402, ISAE 3000, SSAE18, SOC2), framework specific controls assurance (SOx, ITIL etc.), NIST / ISO 270001, SWIFT CSP audits and regulatory IT reviews. Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver client assignments to include IT external audit, third party controls reporting, IT regulatory compliance and IT risk management reviews and ensure quality delivery as per client requirements;
- Assess and Deliver Policies and Procedures tailored to the business requirements of our clients.
- Assist clients in their compliance journey with multiple Cybersecurity Frameworks and Regulations.
- Assist our team to deliver our CISO-as-a-Service offering to clients outsourcing this function to our DRS team.
- Determine that the work delivered is of high quality through quality review/ assurance process with respect to complete and accurate documentation of testing results and review others’ documentation according to regulatory guidelines;
- Conducting tests of Design and Implementation and Operating effectiveness of control Creating process documentation i.e. narratives, flowcharts and Standard operating procedures;
- Mentor, support and review junior team members be willing to develop and support others in their growth journeys and Determine that the work delivered is of high quality through quality review/ assurance process with respect to complete and accurate documentation of testing results and review others’ documentation according to regulatory guidelines;
- Preparation of reports/ deliverables/ status updates/ audit committee presentations etc.;
- Work closely with client management, up to and including board-level directors.
Skills and Attributes
Non-experience / Experienced candidates should have basic / proficient knowledge respectively (both in leading and execution) in the areas of:
- IT General Controls testing (ITGC), including platforms,ERP applications like SAP and databases for:
- IT General Controls testing for Internal Audits (IA),
- Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 302, 404 audits,
- Third party reporting e.g. SOC1, SOC2 etc.
- Governance, risk and compliance (GRC)
- Gaining an understanding of the clients' IT applications and infrastructure to determine the effectiveness of the control environment through performing and reviewing process walkthroughs with:
- Experience of Windows, Oracle, SQL or UNIX environments
- Knowledge of IT and Information Security industry practice methodologies (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, COSO, COBIT, ITIL) is preferable
- Enthusiasm, drive and commitment.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects; and
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in English and Greek languages.
Experience
Assistance Consultants: Up to 2 years experience in Cybersecurity advisory or IT control assurance role.
Consultants: Up to 4 years experience in Cybersecurity advisory or internal audit department or IT control assurance role. Previous professional services experience is a distinct advantage.
Assistant Managers: Up to 6-year experience in Cybersecurity advisory or internal audit department or IT control assurance role. Previous professional services experience is a distinct advantage.
Qualification
- Recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or other related field/ discipline.
- Qualification relevant to IT audit, IT risk management, internal audit, consulting e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM, COBIT 2019 Fundamentals, ISO270001 Lead Auditor / Implementer etc.
- CISA certification (passed examination) will be consider as an advantage; however, this can also be sponsored by the firm.

The role: Mid to senior experienced professional in the area of sustainability consulting with a focus on sustainable strategy development, monitoring and assessment, capacity building and ESG report writing. This is a challenging and fulfilling role where you will be a key member of the team, primarily responsible for the strategy development and capacity building service line working amongst a dynamic team with a broad spectrum of expertise which you will have the opportunity to work with e.g., waste management systems, EPR, circular economy etc.
The Sustainability Advisory Services team assists institutions and organisations across a range of services including sustainable strategy and capacity building, sustainability reporting, sustainable supply chains, sustainable financial sector, sustainability ratings, climate change, circular economy, energy management and EU programmes. These services support organisations meet external regulatory obligations while creating value and resilience in the long term. The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Lead: elements of assignments and engagements in the areas of sustainable strategy development, capacity building and reporting.
- Implement: up to date sustainability methodologies and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Professional Development: Provide expertise and specialist knowledge input where applicable, demonstrate commercial awareness and extensive legislative knowledge applicable locally and internationally.
- Business Development: Contribute to the development of best-in-class approaches to ensure the Firm can secure and deliver on engagements and assignments. Create excellent proposals that show understanding of the market, Client needs, and the Firm’s offering. Ensure opportunities are well understood by the Firm and developed by focusing on relationship development.
- Communication: Take responsibility to ensure appropriate outcome of work is communicated clearly and effectively within reporting lines.
Skills / Requirements:
- Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, sustainability, environmental engineering or equivalent.
- A 1–3-year experience in similar sustainability consulting roles, strategy development, capacity building and sustainability reporting writing.
- Knowledge of sustainability standards such as GRI, ISO 26000, UN Global Compact SASB, etc. are a bonus.
- Knowledge of EU and national legislative environment around sustainable/ non-financial reporting (existing and upcoming).
- Experience of implementation of sustainability standards e.g., GRI, ISO 26000, UN Global Compact, SASB etc. are a bonus).
- Experience in the financial sector or supporting companies in the financial sector will be considered an advantage.
- Software/IT Skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, (Power BI or other BI tools are a bonus).
Other Requirements:
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, attention to detail, decision making, and planning skills.
- Ability to take ownership of projects/tasks and provide solutions to challenges.
- Communicating effectively at all levels, both in writing and verbally in Greek and in English.
- Proficiency in other European languages (French, German, Spanish) is a bonus.
- Willingness to travel and engage in international projects.
- Establish and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, respect, trust, and integrity at all levels.
- The ability to work effectively either individually or as a member of a multi-skilled team.
