       Skills / Requirements:

      • Master’s/ bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, sustainability, environmental engineering or equivalent.
      • Newly qualified accountants, or partly qualified auditors are also a good match.
      • A 1–3-year experience in similar sustainability consulting roles, strategy development, capacity building and sustainability reporting writing.
      • Knowledge of sustainability standards such as GRI, ISO 26000, UN Global Compact SASB, etc. are a bonus.
      • Knowledge of EU and national legislative environment around sustainable/ non-financial reporting (existing and upcoming).
      • Experience of implementation of sustainability standards e.g., GRI, ISO 26000, UN Global Compact, SASB etc. are a bonus).
      • Experience in the financial sector or supporting companies in the financial sector will be considered an advantage.
      • Software/IT Skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, (Power BI or other BI tools are a bonus).

      • Strong organizational, problem-solving, attention to detail, decision making, and planning skills.

            The role of a Portfolio Manager is extremely important for the success of our audit team and above all in the daily creation of an exceptional client and people experiencee for all our clients and colleagues reinforcing our CLEARR values of Collaboration, Leadership, Excellence, Agility, Respect & Responsibility.

            To be successful you should be a qualified professional (ACA/ACCA) with solid experience within practice (minimum two years post qualification). You will report to a Partner and will work closely with the rest of the team to ensure that all work is carried out profitably and on a timely basis in accordance with the firm’s professional standards. You will assume responsibilities for project management leading and developing your own team, working on your own initiative to plan, control, and complete audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.

            Duties & responsibilities

            • Manage a portfolio of clients to ensure delivery of services in line with engagement objectives, scope, and budget.
            • Oversee client engagements from start to finish, managing timelines & deliverables and ensuring adherence to firm policies and quality standards.
            • Proactively develop client relationships, working closely with Partner in charge to develop commercially focused solutions to issues identified.
            • Assist in business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, presentations, and client relationship management.
            • Guide team members, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and a high-performance work culture.
            • Lead by example, demonstrating a clear ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and risk management.
            • Display confidence and an ability to influence at all levels, both internally and externally.
            • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and colleagues across the Firm.
            • Strengthen technical knowledge in field of expertise, continually sharing this knowledge with their immediate teams.
            • Stay up to date with market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices relevant to our services and industry in general.
