Senior Estimator HYBRID

Responsible for the management and delivery of the Pre-Construction function of the Housing Refurb Business. Where required, provide supplementary support to the Estimating function by preparing and managing individual bids.

Taking receipt of tender documents and review in preparation for tender selection with the Head of Pre-Construction and Operational Leaders.
Allocate tenders to the Pre-Construction Team and nominate lead Estimators, ensuring that tenders are prepared accurately and in line with Casey Pre Construction process.
Monitor and support the Pre-Construction Team throughout estimating process ensuring quality control.
Have good knowledge of contract documents and conditions and liaise with the Risk and Compliance Team on all bid opportunities.
Understand and highlight the Risk and Opportunities of each tender.
Ensure bid preparations are of high quality, parallel with and regulatory and funding requirements.
Develop a tender ‘Win Strategy’.
Report on the progress of tenders to the Head of Pre-Construction.
Present opportunities and bids with lead Estimators at the Tender Launch, Tender adjudication and Estimating Handover Meetings. Coordinate Mid Tender Reviews, if deemed necessary.
Produce Pre-Construction and Tender Programmes.
Liaise with the appointed design teams, drive progress through the Pre-Construction period.
Ensure effective team collaboration within the wider business.
Drive continuous improvement and professional development through the Pre-Construction team.
Support the Quality and Social Value Bid Process and ensure Commercial tender offerings consider such propositions.
Coordinate the team pipeline meetings and deliver bid progress updates to the Housing Refurbishment Team and Operational Leaders.
Gather and analyse cost data and trends.
Help to identify new business opportunities and appraise current market conditions.
Liaise with Casey target clients, developing and maintaining relationships, supporting Casey’s new business ambitions.
Provide leadership and support to all Pre-Construction team members.
