Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the bookkeeping and accounting records and ensure they are up to date
  • Contact point for accounts queries within area of responsibility
  • Assist with analysis of actual cost for budget and forecast process
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts (banks, intercompany, suppliers, customers etc)
  • Prepare bank payments and deposits
  • Provide ad hoc reports and analysis as requested
  • Ensure that all pending credit invoices are paid in a timely manner
  • Assist in invoicing, cash collection and depositing in related banks
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all accounting deadlines

 

Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 2-3 years working experience in a similar position
  • Experience in data processing, supplier reconciliations, query resolution.
  • Able to monitor and manage workload, especially around month end, to ensure that reporting deadlines are met.
  • Knowledge of Navision would be an advantage.
  • Basic excel skills.
  • Accounting Degree/Diploma/LCCI Higher.
  • ACCA trainee or ACCA qualified will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken, is required.

Reporting to: Head Mechanic and Golf Course Superintendent

Location: Aphrodite Hills Resort, Paphos

 

Job Summary: 

This role's purpose is to support the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery used on the golf course, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained operation. The Assistant Golf Mechanic will work closely with the Head Mechanic and other grounds staff to ensure that the golf course equipment remains in top working condition for the daily operation and overall aesthetic of the course.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

          Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the daily maintenance of all golf course machinery, including but not limited to lawnmowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and other specialised turf equipment.

          Repairs and Troubleshooting: Respond to mechanical issues during the day by diagnosing problems, performing repairs, and ensuring that equipment is back in service as quickly as possible.

          Routine Inspections: Conduct daily inspections of all golf course equipment to identify signs of wear and tear and ensure it operates safely and effectively.

          Fuel and Lubrication: Monitor and maintain all equipment's proper fuel levels, oil changes, and lubrication schedules.

          Work Orders: Assist in processing work orders for equipment maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely follow-up and completion of tasks.

          Record Keeping: Ensure daily records of maintenance and repairs are accurately logged using the Ground 2 Control system.

          Staff Training: Assist in training using the Train the Trainer methods and following Aphrodite Hills training documents.

          Record Keeping with Ground 2 Control: Assist in compiling and updating detailed records of fuel, equipment performance, maintenance, and repairs using the Ground 2 Control system. Ensure that all relevant data is inputted accurately and on time.

          Inventory Management: Help track parts and supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained for regular maintenance and repairs.

          Preventative Maintenance Scheduling: Work with the Head Mechanic to ensure that all equipment receives scheduled preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer recommendations and best practices.

          Reporting: Help prepare monthly reports on equipment status, repair histories, and maintenance trends.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

          High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in mechanical repair preferred.

          At least 1-2 years of experience working with small engines, golf course equipment, or related mechanical fields.

          Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and power tools.

          Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

          Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

          Ability to work in outdoor conditions and perform physical tasks.

          Excellent verbal communication skills in English language

          Driving License

 

          Eu citizen or an EU work permit holder

 

Schedule:

        Monday-Friday (06:00-14:45)

          Every third weekend (4 hours Saturday and 4 hours Sunday)/ Entitlement to an additional day off during the following week after your weekend shift.

    Job Summary:

    The role of Junior Mechanic will focus on maintaining the cleanliness and performing preventative maintenance on the Club Car fleet. Assisting the Head Mechanic and Senior Mechanic on golf course machinery and equipment when required and occasionally supporting the golf course maintenance team with projects.

     

    Key Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Clean the exterior and interior of Club Cars daily
    • Inspect carts for damage and report issues to the Head Mechanic
    • Perform simple preventative maintenance tasks
    • Keep the cart storage area clean and organised
    • Assist Head Mechanic and Senior Mechanic with machinery repairs and servicing
    • Refill fuel, oil, or fluids under supervision
    • Follow safety procedures and wear correct PPE
    • On occasion, help the golf course team with basic tasks (e.g., renovations, pruning)
    • Report supply shortages such as first aid items and PPE.
    • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and standards.

     

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Basic understanding of mechanics
    • Previous experience in mechanical or maintenance work is a plus, but not required
    • Willingness to learn and follow instructions

    Job Summary:

    The Reservations Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the reservations team, ensuring the accurate recording and processing of all reservations, and maximizing revenue through booking or up selling, cross selling processes.

    This role involves managing a team and conducting audits to uphold departmental standards.

    Reservations Manager will manage schedules, training plans, maintaining tee & room availability and resolving escalated issues. The manager will actively liaise with guests, contracted partners and resort operations teams to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest service.

     

    Key Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Lead and support the reservations team, ensuring established procedures are adhered to and high standards of customer service.
    • Create, manage, and adjust work schedules to ensure adequate coverage for departmental operating days/ times
    • Facilitate regular team meetings to share updates, address challenges, and provide feedback on performance and departmental goals.
    • Prepare training & development plans & conduct the training of reservation team members, ensuring comprehensive knowledge of all resort reservation systems, facilities and procedures relating to the scope of their work.
    • Receives contract rates and inputs the data in relevant PMS systems (rates, allotments, expiry date, GDS codes, Debtor numbers etc.)
    • Enters all reservations for Golf, Sports, Hotel, Rentals, Practice Facilities and review reservation entries daily to ensure booking are entered correctly
    • Daily check of blocks in the system and provide a weekly report of upcoming allotment blocks (for the next 3 months) with suggested actions
    • Attends to enquiries, assists with complaints and requests regarding reservations
    • Maintains a correct filing system and archive for all correspondence.

     

    Requirements and Qualifications: 

    • Working experience of at least 2-3 years at a similar managerial position
    • Proficiency in reservations systems and Microsoft tools
    • Team leadership and training skills
    • Excellent knowledge of English language. Other languages would be considered as an advantage

    VACANCY-Senior Tennis/Padel Coach

    Aphrodite Hills Resort, Europe’s multi-awarded destination and one of the must-visit resorts in the world, is looking for a passionate candidate to join the Tennis Team.

    Key Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Coaching private and group lessons
    • Coaching Adult and children lessons
    • Working flexible in the day
    • Supervisor in our national and international tournaments

     

    Requirements and Qualifications: 

    • ITF level 1 or equivalent
    • Padel Tennis coaching diploma would be an advantage
    • English speaking is a must
    • Speaking Russian would be an advantage
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Positive and approachable manner

    Working Schedule:

    • Winter Period: 08:00-12:00 & 15:00-19:00
    • Summer Period: 08:00-12:00 & 16:00-20:00
