Company Description:
On behalf of our Client, a well-established company operating in the Hotel & Tourism industry, we are seeking to recruit a candidate with a strong business acumen for the position of Business Development Manager, who will be based at our client’s offices in Limassol.

Job Duties:

The successful candidate will focus on business development activities as a means to drive and grow the business. More specifically, he /she will develop an effective business development strategy, propose a pipeline of potential business deals yet continuously explore opportunities by analyzing market strategies, deal with requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; develop negotiating strategies; examine risks and potentials, close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations. Furthermore, he/she will develop, implement and maintain the company’s strategy and business annual plans. Finally, the successful candidate will monitor the company’s expenditure, P & L, approving budgets and revenues as well as monitoring the implementation of the various processes as per any legal regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • A University Degree in Business Management, Accounting and/or Finance, or in any other related field.
  • A Masters Degree in Business Management and /or any other related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar role. Hotel & Tourism industry experience will be considered an advantage.
  • Networking contacts in the industry at Executive Levels.
  • Fluent in the Greek and the English languages
  • Computer literacy

On behalf of our client, a well-established service provider group of companies, we are seeking to recruit a high caliber candidate for the position of Accounts Assistant, to be based at our client's premises in Nicosia.

Job Duties
Reporting to the Chief Accountant, the successful candidate will be assisting with the smooth running of the accounts and financial reporting within the accounting function, focusing on:

  • Ensuring the decisions and instructions of management are adhered to at all times
  • Preparing the VAT returns and annual tax computation
  • Assisting with the preparation of all financial accounting responsibilities and deliverables
  • Ensuring maintenance of proper books of accounts in accordance with Cyprus legislation
  • Upkeeping of the general ledger
  • Assisting with the preparation of periodic management accounts and reports as required
  • Liaising with Inland Revenue as required
  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of provisional tax declaration
  • Liaising with auditors and facilitating the audit for allocated companies
  • Preparing reports as requested by the Chief Accountant

Qualifications

  • LCCI Higher Certificate in Accounting or equivalent qualification
  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting or ACCA/ACA qualification in progress will be considered as an advantage
  • Relevant working experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of Accounting Principles and VAT
  • Fluent in English language, Greek language will be considered as an advantage
  • Computer literacy (MS Office) and in ERP systems (i.e.: ESOFT)
