Company Description:

On behalf of our Client, a service provider firm in the Cyprus market, we are seeking to recruit a professional individual for the position of Accounting Officer, based at our client’s premises in Limassol.  

Job Duties:

Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor the successful candidate will be independently responsible for the handling of accounting and bookkeeping requirements on behalf of a portfolio of clients.

More specifically, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining complete, accurate and up-to-date accounting records, Recording of accounting transactions related to expenses and revenue, preparing the VAT reports, the daily cash flows, the monthly reconciliations of suppliers, customers, banks, PSPs and adhoc reports such as expense analysis and comparison reports. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of Management reports including TB, Income Statement and Balance Sheet as well as the preparation of reports for external and internal audits, regulatory obligations.

 Qualifications:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field or in the process of the ACCA qualification  
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role
  • Experience in working with various accounting software/ERP
  • Previous experience in Forex industry will be considered as an advantage
  • Fluency in the Greek language. Strong knowledge of the English language (written and spoken)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure Self-motivated, with ability effectively alone as well as part of a team

    On behalf of our Client, a European bank based in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a professional individual for the position of Junior Accountant with IT skills, based at our client’s premised in Limassol. 

    Job Duties:

    Reporting to the Head of the Accounting, IT and HR function, the successful candidate will mainly be responsible for assisting on all matters pertaining to this function. More specifically, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting on all fundamental aspects of the Company’s financial record keeping, including the day-to-day accounting (recording and maintaining financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements) and liaising with external associate such as Auditors, Banks, Clients and Cyprus Authorities. Finally, the successful candidate will be responsible for all other administrative duties relating to HR and IT.

    Qualifications:

    • University/College degree /diploma in Accounting or related field or LCCI Higher in Accounting
    • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
    • Fluency in the English language. Very good knowledge of the Greek language
    • Computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office particularly Excel (for reporting purposes)

    Benefits:
