Graduate Trainee

As an Advisory Trainee, you will provide support to the Advisory Team while developing relevant technical and accountancy knowledge.  This includes taking responsibility for own workload as well as supporting more experienced colleagues in performing larger and more complex cases.

Your Training Contract will typically last for 3½ years and will enable you to become a fully qualified Chartered Accountant by the end of your training contract.

For the duration of your Training Contract, all Trainees will be supported, developed, mentored and supervised by more experienced colleagues within the Advisory team and wider Firm.

Due to the nature of the role, a flexible approach to work is required in order to facilitate the needs of our clients and your colleagues.

You will be expected to consistently demonstrate core BDO values and the required standard of competency for the level of this role, which includes adherence with compliance and confidentiality standards.

Graduate Tax Trainee

As a Tax Trainee, you will play an integral role in our Tax Team, as you develop your expertise as a specialist tax adviser.  You will be supported and work with colleagues to provide Tax services for a variety of Corporate or Private Tax clients.  Our clients in these areas range from family owned and entrepreneurial businesses through to established business owners and wealthy families who are seeking advice to help them structure their affairs in an efficient and compliant manner.  We also provide assistance to advisers, working with solicitors, banks and trust companies.

Project Executive

As a Project Executive in Global Outsourcing you will take ownership of the day-to-day management and coordination of client deliverables, supporting the senior team members in delivering exceptional client service to high profile multinational clients.  This role involves liaising with all levels of staff at BDO international and client offices as well as an in-house team of Project Managers, Seniors and Executives. 

You will work as part of a team to ensure that all client deliverables are met for each project, in line with agreed timetables. Working across multiple client projects you will gain an understanding of, and experience in, assisting international clients to manage their accounting, payroll, and compliance functions.

You will be supported to undertake a Prince 2 training programme as well as other development opportunities.

Payroll Analyst

The Global Payroll Analyst will be responsible for specific global clients, working with both the client’s teams as well as our local offices to:

1. Process payrolls for global payroll clients and provide support to the Service Delivery team to deliver a service to our clients which meets the BDO Global Payroll Services standards and practices.
2. Communicate with our BDO offices around the world in ensuring that the payrolls are accurately prepared according to the client specifications.
3. Ensure we adhere to the terms and conditions of the client contract(s).
4. Deliver award winning client service while meeting all clients contracted SLA performance standards.
5. Identify and develop ideas which will drive process efficiencies and deliver cost savings as well as reduce risk for the client.
6. Support with providing metrics and SLAs monthly.

This will also involve ensuring that processes and deliverables are properly documented and monitored on an ongoing basis.

The candidate should be deadline driven, organised, methodical and efficient with an eye for detail and good communication skills.
