Qualifications:

Entry Requirements:

    JUNIOR PAYROLL OFFICER

    Treppides & Co Ltd, the Largest Independent Consultant Cyprus based International Firm, is seeking to recruit an ambitious Junior Payroll Officer to provide support to the Payroll Department. You will be part of a dynamic team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the Company’s payroll engagements. The ideal candidate will become well-versed in Cyprus employment legislation and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Registrations of Companies and employees to Social Insurance Department and Tax Department
    • Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data maintain accurate records of payments made to employees
    • Verify employee records and consult with other departments in the event of a discrepancy
    • End to end processing of company’s payrolls (weekly, fortnightly and/or monthly) for final review from the Manager
    • Communication with clients to get the information needed for preparation of payroll
    • Assisting Payroll Seniors with the submission of income tax returns (TD1)
    • Assisting Payroll Seniors with the preparation and submission of employer’s return (TD7)
    • Assisting with the preparation of the Certificate of Emoluments (TD63)

    Qualifications: 

    • Great attention to detail

    JUNIOR CONSULTANT - INDIRECT TAX DEPARTMENT (VAT)

    K. Treppides & Co Ltd, the Largest Independent Consultant Cyprus based International Firm, is looking for newly graduates to join us and start their career in our Nicosia Office.

     

    Entry Requirements:

    • UK University graduates with at least an upper second-class honors degree (2.1)
    • USA Universities with at least 3.0 GPA
    • University of Cyprus and/or Cyprus University of Technology graduates with at least 7.5 GPA
    • Greek University Graduates with at least 7.5 GPA
    • Private or Other University graduates with at least 3.0 GPA or equivalent grade
    • Excellent analytical and written communication skills in both Greek and English languages.
    • IT literate
    • Should be capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting established goals & objectives within the specific deadline, while maintaining high quality at all times.
    • Enthusiastic Team player
    • Should be willing to perform research, read and understand the Cyprus VAT related Legislation, and the EU VAT Legislation.
    • 1-2 years prior experience in accounting and or VAT related duties will be considered as an advantage.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assume indirect taxation (VAT) assignments under close supervision from senior staff
    • Prepare VAT computations
    • Work with other staff on specific assignments and projects
    • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
    • Other VAT compliance and advisory related assignments
    • Undertake some administration duties required as part of the job
    • Direct communication with clients and the Cyprus Tax Department
