TAX SUPERVISOR

Nicosia

 Position: Supervisor Tax Consultant

Location: Nicosia

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Advising international clients on tax efficient structures and direct tax issues
  • Assessing potential tax exposures/risks based on recent tax developments, and developing recommendations and implementation plans
  • Assisting on tax compliance projects (e.g. preparation of tax returns and tax computations)
  • Working in teams, delegate to and review work of junior staff and cooperate with senior level team members
  • Keeping up to date with all developments in the field of direct taxation and share the knowledge through presentations and seminars
  • Liaising with the local Tax authorities on various client issues
  • Providing on the job training and guidance to the junior team members

  • Complete multiple client engagements; and manage to meet budgets and deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics or any other related field from a reputable university
  • Minimum 3-4 years of direct tax experience
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to draft professional reports addressing client requests
  • Good understanding and knowledge of domestic and international direct tax related matters
  • Able to study and understand the laws related to the direct taxation of Cyprus, effectively applying them in the context of direct tax engagements

Position: Senior Banking Relationship Officer

Location: Nicosia/Limassol

 

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Preparing documents, application package for the opening of personal and corporate bank accounts in Cyprus and/ or foreign banks and EMIs
  • Communication with the clients, banks and/ or agents on a regular basis
  • Collaboration and building relationships with third parties i.e. banks, agents
  • Updating the in-house online system on a daily basis
