Senior Internal Audit / Compliance Consultant- Nicosia Nicosia

Position: Senior Internal Audit / Compliance Consultant TR/0620/IACC 

We are seeking to recruit an Internal Audit / Compliance Consultant to join our expanding team of professionals, in our Internal Audit and Consulting department in Nicosia.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance/Law from a reputable university
  • A Master’s degree in Economics/Finance will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek languages
  • IT literate
  • Very good reporting skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
  • Working with others and as a member of team in order to finalize an assignment
  • 2 years or more of previous experience in a similar role

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake internal audit assignments including the planning, visit/review, drafting of results and preparation of work
  • Assist in planning and carrying out of audit fieldwork in relation to more advanced/ complicated areas
  • Communicate and provide consultancy support to Investment Firms and Financial Institutions
  • Communicate with Regulatory Bodies and Competent Authorities
  • Draft advices to clients on internal audit and compliance related issues and regulatory matters
  • Participate in consulting or other audit related engagements with Financial Institutions
  • Reply to clients’ request in relation to internal audit issues
  • Handle compliance requests, client’s complaints and requests from Regulatory Authorities
  • Participate in the compliance assignments of Financial Institutions
  • Ensure that the reporting obligations of the Financial Institutions are fulfilled
  • Ensure that operational procedures comply with industry practices, internal procedures and regulations

ACCA/ACA Trainees Nicosia/Limassol

Position: ACCA/ACA Trainees│TR/0720/TR

 

We hire graduates to join K. Treppides & Co Ltd and start their career in our Nicosia or Limassol Offices.

Entry Requirements:

  • UK University graduates with at least an upper second-class honors degree (2.1)
  • USA Universities with at least 3.0 GPA
  • University of Cyprus and/or Cyprus University of Technology graduates with at least 7.5 GPA
  • Greek University Graduates with at least 7.5 GPA
  • Private or Other University graduates with at least 3.0 GPA or equivalent grade
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills in both Greek and English languages
  • IT literate

Responsibilities:

  • Assume accounting/ audit/ tax assignments under close supervision from senior staff
  • Prepare financial assignments in Caseware Software
  • Prepare tax computations
  • Work with other staff on specific assignments and projects
  • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality

    K.Treppides & Co Ltd,  would like to hire an Administrator to join the HR Department in our office in Nicosia.

     

    Entry Requirements:

    • College/University degree

    • Broad knowledge of the Microsoft Office
    • Good communication, organization and interpersonal skills

    Responsibilities:

    • Provides administrative support for the development, implementation and communication of all related projects and procedures
    • Assists in promotional/marketing projects of the Firm

    • Ensures that employees working area is appropriate including work equipment
    • Processes accurately information in Exelsys (HR) software
