We hire graduates to join K. Treppides & Co Ltd and start their career in our Nicosia or Limassol Offices.

Entry Requirements:

  • UK University graduates with at least an upper second-class honors degree (2.1)
  • USA Universities with at least 3.0 GPA
  • University of Cyprus and/or Cyprus University of Technology graduates with at least 7.5 GPA
  • Greek University Graduates with at least 7.5 GPA
  • Private or Other University graduates with at least 3.0 GPA or equivalent grade
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills in both Greek and English languages
  • IT literate

Responsibilities:

  • Assume accounting/ audit/ tax assignments under close supervision from senior staff
  • Prepare financial assignments in Caseware Software
  • Prepare tax computations
  • Work with other staff on specific assignments and projects
  • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality

      Funds Operations Officer Nicosia

      Position: Funds Operations Officer | TR/1020/FO

       

      We hire graduates to join K.Treppides & Co Ltd and start their career in the Funds, Accounting and Consulting department.

       

      Candidates may be required to travel abroad for a period of time depending on the requirements of the assignments.

       

      Entry Requirements:

      • BSc/BA Accounting and Finance, BSc Economics, BSc Mathematics/Statistics or any other related field.
      • UK University graduates with at least an upper second-class honors degree (2:1), University of Cyprus and Greek Universities graduates with at least 7.5 GPA, Local Private Universities with at least 3.5 GPA, USA Universities with at least 3.5 GPA, Other University with at least 3.5 GPA or equivalent grade.
      • Excellent analytical and written communication skills in both Greek and English languages.
      • IT literate.

       

      Major Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Acquire knowledge of different kind of exotic financial instruments including over-the counter (“OTC”) products.
      • Operate in backroom trades settlement and gain experience in different kinds of financial products.
      • Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day accounting for a group of assigned funds
      • Calculating and reporting the Net Asset Value (NAV) based on the valuation dates of the Funds under administration.
      • Send and verify performance numbers which are updated in various data providers' databases.
      • Upload daily trade files into the fund management system (Key manually in case of non-automated trades).
      • Setting up instruments and funds in fund management system, booking of complex trades and corporate actions.
      • Comfortable with manual processes and able to improvise with automation.
      • Support the entire audit process for the various funds.
      • Provide support in reconciling and monitoring daily activity.
      • The successful candidate will have the option to participate to the ACCA trainee program of our firm.
      • Liaising with third parties, including investors, clients, banks, custodians and investment managers.

        Position: Compliance Consultant- TR/1020/CC

        Entry Requirements:

         

        • Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance/Law from a reputable university
        • A Master’s degree in Economics/Finance will be considered as an advantage
        • Excellent command of the English and Greek language
        • 1-3 of relevant working experience is required
        • Very good reporting skills
        • Computer expertise
        • Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
        • Working with others and as a member of team in order to finalize an assignment

         

        Key Responsibilities:

         

        • Communicate and provide consultancy support to Investment Firms and Financial Institutions
        • Communicate with Regulatory Authorities
        • Communicate with Internal Audit and Risk Management Departments
        • Draft advices to clients’ compliance related issues and regulatory reports
        • Handle compliance requests, client’s complaints, requests from Regulatory Authorities
        • Participate in the compliance assignments of Financial Institutions
        • Ensure that the reporting obligations of the Financial Institutions are fulfilled
        • Ensure that operational procedures comply with industry practices, internal procedures and regulations
