Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing a portfolio of clients in relation to Corporate Taxation assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Registrations of Companies and employees to Social Insurance Department and Tax Department
• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data maintain accurate records of payments made to employees
• Verify employee records and consult with other departments in the event of a discrepancy
• End to end processing of company’s payrolls (weekly, fortnightly and/or monthly) for final review from the Manager
• Communication with clients to get the information needed for preparation of payroll
• Assisting Payroll Seniors with the submission of income tax returns (TD1)
• Assisting Payroll Seniors with the preparation and submission of employer’s return (TD7)
• Assisting with the preparation of the Certificate of Emoluments (TD63)

Qualifications:

• BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field will be considered as an advantage
• Great attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent use of the Greek and the English languages both oral and written

Special Considerations (to be considered as an advantage):

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. POCKET) will be considered as an advantage
•  Good knowledge of Cyprus employment legislation will be considered as an advantage
• Any related experience will be considered as an advantage
