Your Role:
- Lead and grow a portfolio of diverse tax clients, building long-term trusted relationships.
- Provide insightful tax advice and innovative solutions across restructuring, compliance, and advisory projects in all tax areas (personal taxation, companies taxation, capital gain tax and so on).
- Mentor, train, and inspire your team members while shaping the future of our tax practice.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing a portfolio of clients in relation to Corporate Taxation assignments
- Managing a team of Taxation consultants and responsible for their time management
- Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews
- Responsible for the technical development of the team members
- Ability to interpret Income Tax Law and apply it as required
- Providing Taxation consulting and advice to clients
- Review/preparation of tax compliance deliverables
- Identifying potential tax risks that a client may face and advise clients on local and international tax structures
- Preparation of letters/reports/rulings of opinion in relation to Taxation matters that will need to be submitted to the clients and/or to the Cyprus Tax Department
- Liaise with and manage the working relationship with Cyprus Tax Department in relation to routine tax audits
- Managing ad hoc tax enquiries on behalf of a portfolio of clients
- Perform Tax audits on clients and be able to prepare reports with relevant findings and proposals for rectifying any errors identified
- Oversee the efforts of multiple client engagements, plan, execute, direct, and complete tax assignments in a wide variety of industries and jurisdictions
- Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively
- Preparation and presentation of seminars to both clients and colleagues.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics/ Law/ Mathematics or any other related field from a reputable university.
- ACA/ACCA/AUDIT qualified.
- 3 years of experience in TAX related position.
- Excellent knowledge of the Cyprus tax legislation.
- Excellent knowledge of the provisions of Double Tax Treaties and EU tax directives and international tax should be considered as an advantage.
- Able to study and understand the laws related to the direct taxation of Cyprus as well as other jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be alerted to pick up changes in the legislations of various regulators such as CySEC, CBC, FCA, FSA, MFSA, FSC and update other members of staff and clients about updates in legislation.
- Coordinate administrative procedures necessary for the execution of the assignments.
- Communicate and provide consultancy support to Investment Firms and Financial Institutions.
- Efficient and productive communication with Regulatory Authorities in Cyprus and abroad.
- Efficient communication with the colleagues and other business associates in Cyprus and abroad
