Our client is a leading well-established group of companies, operating in Cyprus and abroad, in diversified sectors. They are seeking to hire a high-potential, talented finance executive who will be working closely with the Group CFO and other finance teams at group and subsidiary level.  

Key Responsibilities 

The role offers a unique opportunity to grow into a top financial executive position and undertake responsibilities in a diverse and exciting landscape, including the below areas: 
 

  • -Oversee core financial operations including accounting, preparation of accounts at group level, cash flow management, and budgeting  

  • -On a regular basis, run a variance analysis with suggested course of action, and align forecasts, applying a deep understanding of the diversified operations of the group 

  • -Provide support to finance teams at group and subsidiaries 

  • -Support the preparation and possibly present financial results to the Board

  • -At least 5 years solid post qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) experience, with exposure in areas such as auditing of large and diversified groups / in a responsible position in a finance team

  • -Passionate in using technology, including experience with ERPs and / or WMS, advanced reporting tools

Key responsibilities 

  • Support monthly financial reporting and the annual budgeting process, including preparation of reports and analysis of financial data. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial planning, reporting, and data integrity across departments. 
  • Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures. 
  • Provide financial analysis and support during the annual external audit, as well as ad hoc analysis to support strategic business projects and the Head of Finance.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor or equivalent formal education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
  • Around 3 years prior experience in an accounting team / in the profession.  Prior experience in audit / internal audit will be considered as an advantage 
  • Tech savvy is a must: strong skills in Excel. Experience with BI / Data analysis tools  
  • Highly detail-oriented and results-focused professional with strong project management skills and the ability to efficiently multitask in fast-paced environments.

  • Present and sell vehicles to prospective customers, applying effective sales strategies and in-depth product knowledge.

The successful candidate will be working alongside a team in a dynamic warehouse environment, supporting daily logistics and material handling operations. The role requires attention to detail and safety, and strong teamwork skills. Responsibilities include:

  • -Load, unload, stack, and move products (pallets, raw materials, crates) efficiently using forklifts and other equipment, adhering to all procedures/internal guidelines

  • -Perform daily inspections of machinery (fluids, tires, brakes) and report any issues or required repairs.

What else is required:

  • -2-3 years’ proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.

  • -Valid forklift operator license (or willingness to obtain one).

  • -Basic mechanical understanding.

  • -Proficiency in Greek or English.
