STEM & Innovation Coordinator

We seek to recruit a full time enthusiastic and committed individual for the position of STEM & Innovation Coordinator. This person will be responsible for developing, implementing, supporting and overseeing STEM and innovation initiatives across the Foundation’s educational programs. This role aims to enhance interdisciplinary learning, foster innovation and ensure that students gain the skills necessary for future academic and career success.

1. Curriculum & Classroom Support
- Help teachers integrate STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths) into everyday lessons.
- Support interdisciplinary projects and guide students in hands-on, real-world activities.
2. Junior & Secondary School
- Introduce age-appropriate STEM learning, from play-based exploration in primary to advanced projects in secondary.
- Support teachers across subjects and mentor students interested in STEM pathways.
- Lead and expand STEM clubs, competitions and fairs.
- Organise and run STEM clubs, challenges, hackathons, and workshops (e.g. robotics, AI, engineering).
4. Teacher Training & Resources
- Provide training and resources to help teachers use STEM tools and project-based methods.
5. Technology & Innovation Management
- Support the setup and management of STEM labs, makerspaces, and equipment in collaboration with ICT.
6. Community & Partnerships
- Build links with universities, companies, and organisations.
- Organise visits, career days, exhibitions, and represent the school at events.
- Track and evaluate STEM initiatives and suggest improvements.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
- Experience in coordinating STEM activities or teaching STEM subjects is an advantage.
- Familiarity with coding, robotics, or maker tools (e.g. LEGO robotics, Arduino, Raspberry Pi) is desirable.
- Experience with CAD or design software is desirable.
- Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
- Passion for STEM education and youth development.
