Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervising the daily operations of the hotel laundry, ensuring that all linens, uniforms, and guest items are processed according to company standards.

  • Organizing and monitoring the work of the laundry team to guarantee productivity, safety, and quality.

  • Ensuring the correct use, cleaning, and maintenance of laundry equipment, reporting promptly any malfunctions.

  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of laundry products and maintaining sufficient stock of detergents, chemicals, and supplies.

  • Maintaining detailed records of laundry operations, including production volumes, supply usage, and costs, and preparing regular reports for management review.

  • Giving constant feedback on laundry operations to avoid delays, fabric damage, or shortages of supplies.

  • Implementing the Health and Sanitation procedures, the Safety Management System, and the Environmental Policy in the Laundry Department.

  • Working closely with the Housekeeping Department to ensure a seamless flow of linen and uniforms for all hotel operations.


Requirements

  • Good knowledge of English or Greek.

  • Computer literate and good knowledge of the common software programs is a must.

  • Work experience of at least two years in a similar position is a must.

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills for supervising staff and daily operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To know and apply arrivals and departures procedure, and all other procedures of the department
  • To verify that all daily arrivals will have the scheduled room at the appointed time. To check if there are any pending arrivals or departures and report to Head Receptionist.
  • To know the opening hours of all departments, all amenities and facilities provided by the hotel, and occasional events (live music evenings, Cyprus nights etc.).
  • To receive and inform from the previous shift. To deliver and inform the next shift. To check the cash float.
  • To heck for any pending repairs and reports to Head Receptionist. If detection of damages not rectified, transfers to Maintenance report of the day.
  • To have acknowledgement of the exchange rate, the weather forecast and to ensure that there are brochures.
  • To be informed of the general availability of room types available for the day, in order to sell, or upgrade rooms, in a way to maximize the average room rate.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Watches over patrons at swimming pool to protect life and prevent accidents
  • Rescues swimmers and assists others in distress.
  • Provides first aid and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation as necessary
  • Enforces safety regulations and takes corrective action to ensure the safety of patrons.
  • Warns parents or responsible adults not to leave young children unattended
  • Prepares daily log and reports describing accidents, first aid given, drowning or near drowning, and other unusual occurrences
  • Ensures that no glasses or glass plates are used in the swimming pool area, to avoid any injures in case of glass brakeage. 
  • In case of vomiting, blood or stool in the swimming pool, he/she removes all the people from the swimming pool and immediately calls the Head of Technical Department to implement the special instructions for cleaning and disinfection. 
  • Maintains water quality standards and in case he/she notice some deviations immediately informs he Head of Technical Department. 
  • Ensures the security of the customers property belonging at the swimming pool area. 
  • Keeps the order and priority in water slides to avoid any injuries.
