Job Summary: The Pool Supervisor is responsible for managing the hotel’s pool and recreation areas, supervising pool staff, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards, and providing a professional and courteous service to all guests.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service at all times.

Respond promptly to guest requests, comments, and concerns, escalating issues to the F&B Manager as required.

Monitor, coach, and assign tasks to Pools Barmen, Lifeguards, and other pool staff; provide support as needed.

Schedule staff according to hotel occupancy forecasts and planned events to ensure adequate coverage.

Build and maintain strong collaboration with the F&B team and other hotel departments to maximize guest satisfaction.

Conduct daily inspections of pool and recreation equipment, including kayaks, chairs, umbrellas, towels, and other items.

Maintain inventory and manage stock levels, ordering supplies to meet guest needs.

Advise the Chief Engineer of upcoming events, maintenance requirements, or damaged property.

Supervise recreation and pool facilities, ensuring proper operation, cleanliness, and safety standards.

Hold daily lineup meetings and regular staff meetings to communicate expectations, inspect uniforms, and address operational matters.

Set, monitor, and maintain standards of the pool and beach operations, ensuring procedures and systems are followed consistently.

Monitor and evaluate team performance, coaching and counseling staff, and taking disciplinary action when necessary.

Collaborate with all hotel departments as needed to support guest experience and operational efficiency.

Implement GDPR requirements to protect personal information of guests and staff.

Adhere to hotel Health & Safety Rules & Regulations and report accidents or incidents immediately.

Perform any other duties assigned by management related to pool and recreation operations.
Skills & Qualifications:

Lifeguard Certification is mandatory.
-
Fluent and impeccable English; additional languages are an advantage.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role or in hospitality.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and lead a team effectively.
-
Physically able to stand and move for long periods of time.
-
Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
-
Ability to work all shifts and days as required.
-
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
