Audit Senior

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will lead audit engagements, oversee audit teams, and ensure compliance with professional standards. You will be responsible for planning audits, reviewing the work of junior auditors, and delivering reliable results to management. Strong analytical skills, the ability to communicate effectively with clients, and a focus on continuous improvement are key to success in this position. Key Responsibilities:

·       Assist in the preparation of audit planning documentation.

·       Communicate the audit plan, responsibilities, and objectives to audit assistants.

·       Lead the audit team by assigning tasks, providing instructions, coaching, and support.

·       Conduct engagement administration reviews to ensure:

·       Audit assistants have completed their assigned tasks accurately.

·       Audit programs and conclusions are appropriately documented.

·       Collaborate with managers to deliver reliable outputs that are ready for manager or partner review.

·       Ensure the audit team adheres to professional quality standards under your supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Oversee budget preparation and financial reporting; monitor expenditures to ensure profitability and execute necessary adjustments when needed.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
  • Prepare progress reports on a regular and ad hoc basis, as agreed with the Regional team and Regional management.
  • Keep up to date with key developments and trends related to own role
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities, as assigned by the CEO
  • Coordinate with other departments for the planning and implementation of relevant activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Strong leadership and management skills, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bulgarian and English
