We have an exciting new opportunity at PCE for a Platform Projects Coordinator to work as part of our BST team.
The Platform Projects Coordinator is a key role within PCE’s Digital Team, managing the day to day operation of PCE’s digital platforms and supporting end user adoption of PCE’s digital tools. Key tasks include the setup and configuration of new projects, managing user access, resolving platform issues, and maintaining data quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Platform Set-up & Project Configuration
· Set up and configure new projects across platforms in line with WGLL and Digital Project Timeline processes
· Ensure project templates, permissions, and data uploads meet operational requirements
· Create and maintain JSON structures to support custom workflows and configurations
· Assist with basic API setup and testing, including payload formatting and endpoint configuration
Platform Maintenance & Data Management
- Carry out ongoing updates and data entry tasks across platforms
- Validate information for accuracy and completeness
- Work with the Ynomia Project Manager to ensure that data reflected on both the Ynomia and Novade platforms are continuously aligned
User Access Control
· Manage platform user accounts and permissions
· Set up new users, update roles as required, and maintain access logs
· Removal of users, when access is no longer required
· Liaise with project leads to ensure correct access across all roles

· Create plans to implement new features, from within our platforms, that are currently not utilised
Training Documentation
· Create and maintain clear, concise training materials, user guides, and checklists that support different learning styles
· Ensure documents are kept up to date with platform or process changes
· Support wider training initiatives in partnership with the Digital Team
Standards & Best Practice
· Promote consistent digital practices and data standards across teams
· Stay up to date with PCE’s processes that interloop with digital to ensure the two stay aligned
· Keeps digital workflows and process documents up to date, ensuring all changes are captured and updated through PCE’s document management system
· Conduct regular data quality checks and audits and follow up with a suitable action plan to drive betterment, working with the wider business to ensure improvements are achieved
· Be prepared to support other team members in the delivery of their priorities, as and when required

· Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience in Construction Management, IT, Digital Engineering or related field
Knowledge:

· Familiarity with basic API operation and how digital systems connect and exchange data

Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Training and Development Administration
Coordinate and administer all critical compliance training for employee partners — including certification, health & safety, and role-specific training — ensuring no delays to project work. Maintain accurate training records and the training matrix, secure approvals and training agreements, and coordinate with managers to address skills gaps. Build strong relationships with training providers, optimise costs, and ensure robust feedback and continuous improvement of training processes. Track training spend and manage CITB grant claims effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Training and Development Administration
Coordinate and administer all critical compliance training for employee partners — including certification, health & safety, and role-specific training — ensuring no delays to project work. Maintain accurate training records and the training matrix, secure approvals and training agreements, and coordinate with managers to address skills gaps. Build strong relationships with training providers, optimise costs, and ensure robust feedback and continuous improvement of training processes. Track training spend and manage CITB grant claims effectively.

To measure the financial and physical performance of Projects against order targets, assisting in driving best value from suppliers/subcontractors and internal resources to maximise project profitability and Company process improvements. Timely submission and negotiation of interim and final accounts with client/main contractor and agreement of those issued to PCE by the supply chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Quantity Surveyor
- Develop a thorough understanding of the designated project specifications, pricing structures, programmes, and contractual conditions, etc, upon which the PCE project offer is based.
- Review and assist with the negotiation and agreement of the Client/Main Contractor contract documentation.
- To assist other departments of the PCE team with pre-start planning and programming.
- Assist with the supplier/subcontractor selection, analysing competitive offers, and helping to ensure the chosen supplier/subcontractor has the appropriate skill set and capability to deliver the works.
- Place all appropriate supplier/subcontractor orders ensuring that such order documentation provides access to all the required information for the supplier/subcontractor to undertake their work without putting at jeopardy any of the terms, conditions or obligations agreed by PCE with its client.
- Be responsible for all Supplier/Sub-contract commercial management including variation accounts and processing of requests for payment.
- Attend external and internal project related meetings, recording all actions, agreements and any unresolved matters.
- Recording and tracking of progress by internal departments and external suppliers/subcontractors in relation to agreed project programmes.
- Manage the day to day Company cost control, monitoring and reporting systems including recommending and implementing improvements.
- Change management control - Identification, communication, costing and assist with resolution of changes to PCE’s agreed scope of works.
- Analysis of internal reporting systems, design, procurement and construction, including site produced paperwork, giving feedback with regards to quality and content.
- Provide advice to PCE staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
- Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations with the client and supply chain as necessary.
- Communication and liaison with PCE’s client in relation to all of the project’s commercial matters, including the provision and production, in a timely manner, of all necessary information and substantiation of valuations, final accounts and retention release ensuring receipt of such payments in accordance with the agreed contract.
- Completion of a monthly cost / valuation report and cash flow for each designated project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Quantity Surveyor
- Develop a thorough understanding of the designated project specifications, pricing structures, programmes, and contractual conditions, etc, upon which the PCE project offer is based.
- Review and assist with the negotiation and agreement of the Client/Main Contractor contract documentation.
- To assist other departments of the PCE team with pre-start planning and programming.
- Assist with the supplier/subcontractor selection, analysing competitive offers, and helping to ensure the chosen supplier/subcontractor has the appropriate skill set and capability to deliver the works.
- Place all appropriate supplier/subcontractor orders ensuring that such order documentation provides access to all the required information for the supplier/subcontractor to undertake their work without putting at jeopardy any of the terms, conditions or obligations agreed by PCE with its client.
- Be responsible for all Supplier/Sub-contract commercial management including variation accounts and processing of requests for payment.
- Attend external and internal project related meetings, recording all actions, agreements and any unresolved matters.
- Recording and tracking of progress by internal departments and external suppliers/subcontractors in relation to agreed project programmes.
- Manage the day to day Company cost control, monitoring and reporting systems including recommending and implementing improvements.
- Change management control - Identification, communication, costing and assist with resolution of changes to PCE’s agreed scope of works.
- Analysis of internal reporting systems, design, procurement and construction, including site produced paperwork, giving feedback with regards to quality and content.
- Provide advice to PCE staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
- Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations with the client and supply chain as necessary.
- Communication and liaison with PCE’s client in relation to all of the project’s commercial matters, including the provision and production, in a timely manner, of all necessary information and substantiation of valuations, final accounts and retention release ensuring receipt of such payments in accordance with the agreed contract.
- Completion of a monthly cost / valuation report and cash flow for each designated project.

Assistant Project Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join our projects team at PCE. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work directly with the Project Manager to deliver PCE’s projects, working effectively and collaboratively with our client, supply chain and construction teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong self-management skills and be able articulate information and data clearly.

Reports to: Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

Communication & Collaboration
- Providing effective and clear communication to all members of the PCE team.
- Establishing clear lines of communication including good project monitoring and reporting.
- Liaising with the project stakeholders. Helping to develop good, long-lasting relationships.
- Liaise with all other project managers in the team, where necessary or required.
- Attending key stage project reviews and weekly project meeting with the PCE team through all phases of the project:

- Commercial
- Project Debriefs
- Assisting in the implementation of PCE’s overall strategy for the successful delivery of the project with the Project Manager and Project Director.
Reporting & Monitoring
- Reporting and liaising with the Project Director and Project Manager on project status, key issues and performance objectives, weekly and monthly.
- Monitoring the programme, inclusive of milestones, short term programmes, programme logic and critical interdependencies.
- Assisting in the implementation of project specific processes for monitoring performance, productivity and quality throughout each phase of the project.
- Monitoring of all protocols and training to keep our digital reporting live and up to date.
Commercial
- Assisting with commercial management in conjunction with the PM and QS; including establishing and agreeing cash flows, payment milestones and terms & conditions.
- Subsequent involvement in monitoring PCE’s critical activities, influencing the commercial position and performance of the project inclusive of variations, change control and commercial agreements.
- Assisting with the processes and procedures for the effective management of all aspects of procurement alongside the Project Director, Project Manager and Commercial Director.
Quality & Standards
- Monitoring high standards for quality of information, service and the end product
- Monitoring relevant specifications and standards
- Accountable for making sure PCEs standards and values are met at all times for site and project office, and for the day to day running
- Assisting in implementing PCE’s overall strategy for the successful delivery of the project with the Project Manager and Project Director
- Monitoring the implementation of Health and Safety processes/ objectives and rules inclusive of CDM co-ordination
