BIM Manager

Position Summary 

The BIM Manager will lead and coordinate all Building Information Modelling activities for a major construction project.                                                                                                                This role oversees model development, data integrity, digital collaboration, and adherence to project standards, ensuring design and construction teams work from accurate, timely, and integrated information.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1. Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific BIM Execution Plan.

2. Oversee creation, coordination, and quality control of all discipline models.

3. Manage model integration, clash detection, and resolution workflows.

4. Ensure compliance with project standards, naming conventions, and data protocols.

5. Facilitate digital coordination meetings and report model-related issues.

6. Support design and construction teams in effective use of BIM tools and processes.

7. Maintain the Common Data Environment and ensure controlled information exchange.

8. Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to align modelling requirements.

9. Produce model-based reports, visualisations, and construction sequencing outputs as needed.

10. Monitor model progress, maintain documentation, and provide ongoing BIM training and guidance.

 

Level of Education Standard & Experience Required

MQF LEVEL 5 (DIPLOMA)

YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE – 2 years

TYPE OF WORKING EXPERIENCE – Construction industry

SPECIFIC WORKING EXPERIENCE – administration of sites

LANGUAGES- WRITTEN/SPOKEN - strong communication skills in English
