Quantity Surveyor

Position Summary

The Quantity Surveyor will play a critical role in managing the financial, contractual and commercial aspects of projects.

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1.Track and monitor project expenses against approved budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.

2.Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost allocation and timely reporting.         

3.Proactively identify possible variations/claims and build-up new rates as required.          

4.Conduct frequent site visits.          

5.Prepare detailed monthly cost reports, highlighting issues and providing in-depth explanations.  

6.Prepare interim payment applications as per the requirements of each contract and issue after Post-Contracts Manager’s review.              

 

Level of Education Standard & Experience Required           

MQF LEVEL 6 (DEGREE)        

YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE – 5 years          

TYPE OF WORKING EXPERIENCE – QS, Architect, Civil Engineering
