Position Summary
Support the procurement function in sourcing and purchasing construction materials, ensuring accurate documentation, timely order processing, and smooth coordination between suppliers, logistics, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1.0) Assist in sourcing and obtaining quotations for construction materials
2.0) Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with internal procedures
3.0) Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery of materials
4.0) Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams on order status
5.0) Support import processes by assisting with shipment tracking and documentation
6.0) Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier communications, and deliveries
7.0) Update and maintain supplier databases and procurement records
8.0) Support senior team members in procurement and supplier coordination activities
9.0) Quality and Continual Improvement
9.1) Carry out duties with attention to quality and contribute to the continual improvement of work processes
10.0) Health & Safety
10.1) Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by following all health and safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices, and promptly reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses

MQF LEVEL 3 (O’LEVEL GRADE 1-5)

LICENCES/CERTIFICATES REQUIRED – Basic Computer Skills
YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE - 2 years
TYPE OF WORKING EXPERIENCE - Office Admin
SPECIFIC WORKING EXPERIENCE - Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, Experience with international trade and container shipments, Commercial awareness with ability to make cost-effective decisions.
LANGUAGES- WRITTEN/SPOKEN - strong communication skills in English
OTHERS –
• Organised and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
• Basic understanding of procurement processes and documentation
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
