About the Role
We are seeking a versatile Buying and Merchandising Manager to oversee a diverse brand portfolio that utilizes both Push (Forecast-Driven) and Pull (Demand-Driven) models.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing established, high-volume "Push" brands through meticulous seasonal planning, while simultaneously driving growth for our agile "Pull" brands by leveraging real-time customer data and ad-hoc replenishment. This position requires a rare blend of traditional financial discipline and modern, reactive thinking. You will be in constant communication with Operations, Marketing and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Dual-Model Inventory Strategy:
Push Model: Maintain and develop existing strategies for both pro-active and re-active sales planning while influencing the partners’ teams to secure the required collections and levels of stock.
Pull Model: Maintain and develop existing strategies for purchasing trend-driven collections and themes while ensuring that the correct levels of stock will reach the market on repeated and bulk volume lines.
· Strategic Range Planning: Develop commercially balanced assortments ensuring appropriate stock depth for each item.
· Financial & OTB Control: Manage complex Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets that account for both pre-season commitment and in-season reactive spending.
· Performance Analytics: Use advanced data tools to monitor Sell-Through, stock coverage and all other retail KPIs as product life cycles evolve.
· Team Leadership: Guide the team in switching mindsets between long-term planning and high-velocity daily trading.
· Establish good relationship with Partners and other stakeholders.
· Regular stores visits
· Comparative shopping: within the local market

· Gross Sales
· Gross Profit Margin
· Markdown Cost (Cost of Reduction)
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Hybrid Experience: 5+ years in Buying and Merchandising, with documented experience managing both high-volume seasonal ranges and fast-fashion/demand-driven categories.
· Advanced Analytics: Expertise in demand planning software and Excel; ability to interpret volatile data sets to make "pull" decisions under pressure.
· Supply Chain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the "push-pull boundary" and how to manage the transition from forecast-based to order-based inventory.
· Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to manage diverse vendor bases and manage effective relationships with external partners teams.
· Adaptability: A "trader" mindset—comfortable with the ambiguity of real-time demand and the precision of long-term financial planning.
