MGR Human Resources Ltd, member of MAP S.Platis Group of Companies, is a leading, broad HR Consulting, Training, Recruitment and Temporary Placements Agency. We are looking to hire an Administrative Assistant – Training and Learning Management Unit for the European Union Agency for Asylum to be based in Malta.

The position

The successful candidate will work on a secondment basis for the awarded contract for the Provision of Interim Services to the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA). EUAA is an EU Regulatory Agency headquartered in Malta whose mandate is to strengthen EU Member States’ practical cooperation on asylum, to support Member States whose asylum systems are under particular pressure and to enhance the implementation of the Common European Asylum System.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing logistic and administrative support to the Unit;
  • Providing technical support during training sessions (webinars and face-to-face);
  • organization of meetings, conferences, workshops, including invitation letters, participants lists, the procurement of venues and catering and the preparation of meeting documentation, tools and folders for participants;
  • providing support to the function of the EUAA Registrar;
  • providing support in drafting of administrative files;
  • managing functional mailboxes of the Unit within the Training Implementation Unit of EUAA and communicate with external stakeholders on administrative matters;
  • providing support with mission preparation for staff members;
  • archiving of documents;
  • providing support with reimbursement of participants to meeting;
  • support with other administrative and financial tasks.

Selection criteria:

Minimum qualification

  • Post-secondary education attested by a diploma or secondary education.

Minimum experience  

  • Minimum 1 year of appropriate professional experience in an administrative function or equivalent

Remuneration

The position falls in hierarchical Category III and the associated salary is €33,475.68 gross annually in twelve monthly installments.
