      Leads the development and implementation of Celestyal’ s marketing communication & multi- media strategy so as to build brand awareness, brand engagement and  increase the Company’s competitiveness and market share. The overall objective of this role is to lead and manage the marketing function to ensure a consistent message and creative styled tone for Celestyal Cruises across all global markets and key customers whilst significantly increase  direct sales

      Key Accountabilities:

      • Defining & managing the global marketing strategy for both our trade and consumer direct businesses, creating synergies across campaigns & optimising by channel as necessary- innovation and creativity is essential here
      • Developing a strategy that improves brand awareness and reputation, enhances passenger acquisition, drives engagement and retention, as well as increasing demand
      • eCommerce optimization, multi-channel marketing, analytical analysis through to customer acquisition and retention (CRM) strategies. The management of internal & external agencies for PPC, display &paid social activities
      • Management & development of trade marketing relationships & marketing plans, as well as seeking to build beneficial partnerships with identified brands and tourist boards.
      • Working closely with Celestyal’ s market leaders to align brand identities & adapt global campaigns at a country level, to maximum commercial effect
      • Manage the Global web and social media team to improve the usability, design, content and conversion of the company’s global websites
      • Management & maintenance of the global & countries marketing budget
      • Management of Celestyal’ s campaigns, brochure launches, events & partnerships, including agency management

      • Delivers a brand marketing toolkit to all partners and associates in the key distribution markets, develops strong brand campaigns both for online and offline media, ensures a strong presence in all major trade and consumer travel shows
      • Liaises with the Sales Division, receives continuous feedback on communication plans, activities and materials, and provides support and advice, in order to support sales targets and the overall commercial success of Celestyal. Develops and delivers all trade marketing material and communication needs. Supports sales for all marketing needs to their customers and for their presence in trade shows. Receives product updates, prices and promotions for all markets and implements according to Sales direction.
      • Leads the selection and collaboration with advertising, media, digital and other partners, so as to build long-lasting, powerful, and successful partnerships and to ensure the provision of quality services according to Celestyal’s brand philosophy, values and guidelines.
      • Responsible for designing and executing the brand creative that delivers the brand promise onboard our ships. Guides the experiential marketing strategy and has strong partnering with Hotel Operations,  to ensure that the brand promised is fully experienced onboard the vessels and strong customer engagement is created.
      • Develops, submits and upon approval implements the global marketing budget, oversees its accurate execution, identifies cost saving opportunities and proposes corrective actions in case of deviations, in order to ensure compliance with set targets.
      • Develops and initiates new strategic collaborations that contribute to the brand and the company objectives. Creates synergies with other brands/companies that elevate the image of our Celestyal Cruises
      • Proposes the most effective structure for the global Marketing Team as well as the resources required, Participates in the selection and recruitment process of the Marketing Department employees, to ensure the employment of the most suitable professionals, who will effectively support the achievement of global goals
      • Coordinates, coaches and motivates their teams, through the appropriate training, development, management of performance and salary progression to ensure that staff have the appropriate knowledge, skills and support that will help them perform effectively and contribute to the achievement of the Department’s short and long-term objectives.

      Job Requirements: 

      Educational:

      Degree in Business Administration / Marketing or related field from an accredited college or university

        Key Accountabilities:

        Develop and implement a regional annual sales plan for the territory ( ME/NH/VT/RI/CT/NY/PA/NJ/DE/MD/DC/WV/OH/KY Eastern Canada)

        • Develop and implement an annual sales plan for key accounts using a customized approach to address the specific needs of each reseller ensuring that ROI is monitored and maximized
        • Strengthen relationships and achieve growth with key preferred accounts through regular contact and informative updates with respect to their productivity and progress; offer assistance when appropriate to assist in achievement of their goals.
        • Provide multiple detailed in house and webinar product trainings to travel agents, at a minimum of 2 per month. Co- organize and host client (consumer) presentations and product information sessions, average of 1 per month. Escort familiarization trips for travel agents as necessary.
        • Designs, proposes, negotiates and, upon approval, implements the sales plan and commercial agreements for the designated region so as to achieve the relevant sales targets and contribute to Celestyal’s commercial success.
        • Identifies, proposes, and upon approval, collaborates with new B2B & B2C partners, i.e. travel agencies and tour operators, aiming at building long-lasting, powerful, and successful partnerships that will enable Celestyal to attain its commercial objectives.
        • Monitors, evaluates and forecasts sales results for his/her area of responsibility, market and competition data, in order to maintain alignment with the budget, taking corrective action when necessary.
        • Identifies and recommends key communication, as well as, engages/contributes in company social media channels, i.e. shows, trade Facebook page, etc., to the Marketing Department with a purpose to achieve sales business targets and promote Celestyal and its services.
        • Keeps abreast of market developments and trends in order to make recommendations on pricing of cruising services, provides feedback on customer needs, and ideas on products that would enhance customer satisfaction and sales activities’ effectiveness.
        • Contributes or/undertakes special projects according to Sales division’s needs and executes all required actions to ensure their successful completion.

          3. Acts as a liaison between passengers and all on-board departments to ensure high passengers’ satisfaction

          5. Handles passengers’ complaints with the respective on-board departments

          7. Translates and assists during daytime and nighttime Cruise activities

          Critical Requirements and Skills

          • Language proficiency in more than one language. Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English is also a must. A proficiency test may be required. Desired languages are: French, Spanish, German, Italian, Greek, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese
          • Must be able to translate to and from the assigned languages
          • Minimum of 1-year previous experience in the service industry at the front office, Public Relations, Hosting, or Event Coordinator. Previous experience on board will be regarded as an advantage
          • Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) literacy
          • Excellent communication, interpersonal and social skills – smiling is a must
