The Role:
The Financial Controller (Europe) plays a pivotal leadership role within ISX Financial EU Plc, overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting, and control across European operations. The position is accountable for maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accounting standards, and delivering timely and accurate financial information to support executive decision-making.
As a key member of the regional finance leadership team, the Financial Controller ensures that ISX’s financial systems, policies, and controls underpin operational excellence, scalability, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:
C – Customer

- Manage preparation and publication of timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and difference analysis; ensure management reporting accuracy and consistency.
- Direct preparation of regulatory reporting and address technical accounting issues under IFRS and Central Bank of Cyprus requirements.
- Maintain financial control across all European entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
R – Responsibility
- Develop and document robust accounting policies and internal controls that support audit assurance and regulatory confidence.
- Drive process improvement, automation, and global scalability of financial operations through technology and system enhancements (e.g., Dynamics 365).
- Lead monthly close processes within agreed timeframes (≤ 7 working days).
- Partner with Group Finance, Treasury and Payment Operations to optimize cash management, FX exposure, and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare monthly European management reporting packs for submission to the Group CFO and the Board.
- Act as the main contact for external audits, tax reviews, and regulatory examinations.
E – Engagement
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary finance team of 6, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and collaboration.
- Encourage cross-functional alignment between Finance, Payment Operations, and business units.
- Build strong relationships with banking partners, regulators, and auditors based on trust and transparency.
- Actively support the CFO in communicating financial performance, forecasts, and strategy to executive stakeholders and the Board.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller.
- 7+ years post qualification of combined accounting and finance experience.
- Advanced degree in Accounting.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in creating financial statements and executing month-end/year-end close processes.
- CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualification with relevant PQE in a global, regulated FinTech environment.
- Strong knowledge of Safeguarding regulations.
- Experience working with large volumes of transactional data across multiple currencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and ESoft (advantageous).
- Track record of improving, streamlining, and automating global processes and controls.

The Senior Accountant – Group Financial Reporting plays a critical role in the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality group financial reporting across ISX Financial EU Plc and its subsidiaries.
Acting as a key deputy to the Head of Group Financial Reporting, the role supports delivery of financial information to the CFO, CEO, Board, Audit Committee, regulators, and external auditors. - Support preparation of Board and Audit Committee reporting, including financial results, difference analysis, key drivers, and supporting commentary.

Responsibilities:

- Support the company’s customer-first approach by ensuring financial records, reconciliations, and reporting are accurate, transparent, and reliable.

The Role:
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the financial integrity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of the company’s day-to-day financial operations. The role is responsible for core accounting processes, reconciliations, and reporting activities that underpin reliable financial statements and regulatory confidence.
Operating within a regulated financial services environment, the Senior Accountant supports month-end close, control activities, audit readiness, and continuous improvement of finance processes. This role is well suited to a qualified accountant looking to develop their career in fintech and financial services.
Responsibilities:
C – Customer
- Support the company’s customer-first approach by ensuring financial records, reconciliations, and reporting are accurate, transparent, and reliable.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data that underpins customer funds protection, financial control, and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Finance, Payment Operations, Operations, and HR to support smooth and timely financial processes.
A – Accountability
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded in the general ledger.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and posting of journals and analytical review of balances.
- Prepare and support the production of financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
- Take ownership of assigned balance sheet accounts, ensuring balances are complete, accurate, appropriately supported, and analytically reviewed.
- Perform analytical review of profit and loss and balance sheet movements, identifying unusual trends and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Perform regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, collections, and expense processing.
R – Responsibility
- Operate with a strong internal financial control mindset, identifying control weaknesses and supporting remediation actions in collaboration with the Financial Controller.
- Maintain the fixed asset register, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Support payroll preparation and processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with intercompany reconciliations and balance confirmations across group entities.
- Support preparation and submission of VAT returns and other statutory filings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Skills and Experience:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 6+ years’ experience in financial reporting, audit, or group accounting roles, ideally including Big-4 / top-tier audit experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial disclosures, including group consolidation.
- Experience in a regulated and/or listed (or pre-IPO) environment is highly desirable.
- Experience in working across different cultures and multiple jurisdictions/time zones.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical capability, and structured approach to problem solving.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred).

Responsibilities:
• Drafting, reviewing, and commenting on various types of company’s commercial agreements, customer-facing legal documents, agreements with third parties, and legal/corporate documents.
• Preparing requested legal documents according to the needs of other departments within the Company.
• Involved with the corporate governance and administration of ISX Financial Group of companies, including company secretary work, assisting in the preparation of Board/Committee meetings and meeting agendas, collation of Board materials, drafting of minutes/resolutions and ensuring relevant action points are followed up.
• Monitoring the maintenance of the corporate documents for the ISX Financial Group’s entities and overseeing the filing of legal and regulatory documents.
• Working closely with other departments within the company to provide ongoing coverage of legal aspects including coordinating the business on legal matters.
• Assist in managing legal documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct legal research, review relevant regulatory and statutory changes across the EU, UK, US, Canada, and other jurisdictions as required and if relevant, advise impact to business.
• Carry out any other legal work and tasks as required by the Legal Counsel.

Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Law.
· A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
· Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional EU languages is highly desirable.
· Demonstrated ability to independently handle complex legal tasks with a hands-on approach.
· Advanced project management skills with the capacity to efficiently handle a substantial workload, navigate conflicting priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
· A methodical and structured approach to work, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks.

Experience:
- An experienced cyber security engineer with 5 year’s experience across several cyber security domains, with a thorough understanding of cyber security analysis and knowledge of IT security best practice, solutions, and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of standards, controls, and frameworks, such as CIS Controls, CSA Cloud Controls Matrix, ISO27001, NIST Standards (800-53, CSF), OWASP Top 10. You can demonstrate working with at least one of these but have a deeper understanding of PCI DSS compliance requirements.
- Proficient in supporting cyber incident response processes and maintaining an effective continuous threat and vulnerability monitoring program.
- Able to demonstrate 2 year’s experience securing cloud workloads and infrastructure, and operating cloud-native security tools and services to provide automation, preventative and detective controls.
- Have an in-depth knowledge on Cyber Kill Chain or MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Developed a technical capability in Identity and Access Management to implement and manage appropriate privileged access controls across disparate systems and networks, both on-prem and cloud, and have previously deployed SSO solutions with multiple IdPs.
- Comfortable implementing, operating, and optimising cyber security tools and able to quickly understand and adapt to new security solutions to provide optimised operation.
- An ability to work independently and prioritise work to manage conflicting deadlines, have experience leading a team, and confident to take the initiative and say what you think.
- You’re an avid cyber security professional that follows industry trends and able to understand the latest developments and identify opportunities to address control gaps and known risks.
- You can integrate with a multicultural organisation and bring a professional work ethic to your conduct of team leadership and lead by example. You display strong communication and leadership skills.

The role:
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organisation’s cyber security infrastructure. This includes protecting company assets, such as intellectual property and sensitive customer information, from cyber threats and breaches. The individual in this role will be a subject matter expert in cyber security, with a deep understanding of security best practices, industry standards, and current threats.
You will be expected to review and respond to daily security events, alerts, and investigations, requiring you to problem solve and remediate using security tools and knowledge of incident response process. You will be responsible for providing a secure operating environment for the business and its people.
Responsible for threat modeling current/new application features and product launches, being a security consultant on security design best practices, identifying security gaps and raising risks when discovered.
You will need to work collaboratively with our ITSM, DevOps, Developers, Technology & Infrastructure team to support the delivery of projects and product improvements prioritised by the business.
You will gain invaluable experience working with EU and globally recognised security standards and frameworks, such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, Swift CSCF, DORA, and PSD2.
