Who we are?

ISX Financial EU Plc is an authorised Electronic Money Institution licensed by the Central Bank of Cyprus. The company provides payments, issuance of electronic money, IBAN addressable stored value accounts and KYC identity verification services to eCommerce merchants, regulated sector businesses and consumers. 

ISX Financial EU Plc also operates a sophisticated & patented anti-money laundering and anti-fraud system that also provides transactional security to business and retail customers. It is real time and detects the AML issues currently in focus by regulators.

  • Responsible for reviewing transactions to identify any Money Laundering or Terrorist Financing cautionary flags and rapidly dispositioning them along with escalating cases which requires further review by the next level.
  • Responsible for performing risk-based reviews on transaction monitoring cases, analyze trends and mitigate ML/TF risks with clear and concise narrative.
  • Performing gap analysis and identifying AML and/or Compliance/Regulatory issues compared to the laws and regulations in force.
  • Ensure processes and actions are logged and support regulatory reporting. Documenting the analysis in form of qualitative document for relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of the existing transaction monitoring rules and propose optimization wherever required.
  • Analyse data to better understand potential risks, concerns, and outcomes of decisions.
  • Aggregate data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive assessment.
  • Create reports, summaries, presentations, and process documents to display results.
  • Collaborate with other team members to effectively analyse and present data.
  • Develop and document processes for required tasks of the department.
  • Observe and analyse economic and financial trends that may present a risk to the company.
  • Monitor internal and external data points that may affect the risk level of a decision.
  • Provide ad hoc financial and customer analysis to support strategic business projects.
  • Work with IT department to improve development of programs, reports and ensure data integrity.
  • Create dashboards and perform analysis in tableau.
  • Collect and organize information from platforms and databases.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.

Skills and Requirements:

  • University Degree in Mathematics, Data Analytics  or Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Knowledge of MS Office and experience using Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate between various technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proactive and reactive thinking and good analytical skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Experience drafting clear and concise summaries of alert review findings
  • Excellent planning and organizations skills including ability to manage inter-dependencies and execute under stringent timelines
  • Exceptional drive and commitment; ability to work and thrive in in fast changing, results driven environment
  • Proactive learner with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and techniques with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily deadlines for projects
  • Able to work under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong mathematical skills and statistical toolkit would be an advantage
