Responsibilities

  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage Microsoft 365 tenancies to enhance the suite of Office products, ensuring optimal performance and user support.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to ensure support services are delivered successfully while meeting SLAs.
  • Data Governance & Document Management: Oversee data governance and document storage solutions, including policies for DLP, retention, backup, availability, and resilience.
  • Process Optimisation: Understand team workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
  • Service Desk Management: Investigate issues, manage service desk operations, and apply maintenance procedures to improve system performance and stability.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive the continuous maturity of technical and operational processes.
  • Documentation: Create high-quality documentation to support business processes, procedures, and the internal knowledge base.
  • Asset Management: Handle lifecycle asset management for user devices (Apple macOS and Windows).
  • Audit Assistance: Support audit activities (ISO, PCI, and financial regulatory requirements).
  • Security & Risk Assessment: Collaborate with Operational Security to identify risks and perform remediation activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT role.
  • Proficiency in scripting for automation and maintenance (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python).
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL-aligned operational frameworks and best practices.
  • Expertise in operating systems: Windows, macOS (Linux exposure is an advantage).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in the finance/banking sector is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Industry - recognized certifications.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise with Microsoft 365 (Office Suite, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Business Central).
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Solid understanding of networking architectures (wired/wireless).
  • Awareness of cyber threats (e.g., malware, DDoS, phishing, ransomware, data leakage).
  • Experience in managing or implementing monitoring tools.
