The Role:
- Reviewing, amending, and commenting on various types of agreements and legal/corporate documents.
- Working closely with other departments within the company to provide ongoing coverage of legal aspects including coordinating the business on legal matters.
- Assist in managing legal documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct legal research, review relevant regulatory and statutory changes across the EU, UK and other jurisdictions as required and if relevant, advise impact to business.
- Support the legal team in various administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Studies and/or experience in one or more of commercial, cyber, securities, banking, or payments law is a mandatory requirement.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal.
- 1-2 years as a practicing lawyer.
- You will need to be hands on in carrying out legal work.
- Ability to handle large workload with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of payments industry will be considered as an advantage.
- A thorough approach to work and attention to details.
