Front Office Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coach and counsel team members to reflect SOPs service standards and procedures.
Maintains complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
Supervises daily shift processes ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures
Trains, directs the work of front office employees, resolves issues/problems and coaches the front desk team members to ensure a quality operation
Resolves customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
Allocates rooms to expected arrivals after checking the guests’ preferences and special requests.
Prepares and adjusts weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines and labour forecasts.
Conducts department meetings with team to drive associate engagement.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position in the luxury hospitality industry.
A degree in Hospitality or a related field.
Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language. Knowledge of a third language will be considered an asset.
Excellent computer skills are a prerequisite.
Strong business sense and industry expertise, excellent communication skills, budgets and numbers-oriented person.
Polished personal presentation with a warm, confident and hospitable personality.
Team player, focused on accomplishing high-quality results.
The base of the position is in the city of Thessaloniki.
