Scheduling & Planning Officer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Scheduling and Planning Officer to join our Commercial Planning team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining flight schedules that support the airline’s strategic objectives, including market growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with Network Planning, Revenue Management, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure schedules are commercially viable and operationally feasible. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of airline scheduling principles, market analysis, with the ability to translate data into effective planning decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and adjust flight schedules to support commercial objectives such as market growth, load factors, and profitability.
- Collaborate with Network Planning, Revenue Management, and Sales teams to analyse market trends and passenger demand
- Assist in planning seasonal schedules, new routes, and frequency adjustments based on commercial input.
- Coordinate with Operations and Crew Planning teams to ensure schedule feasibility and alignment.
- Monitor schedule performance and recommend changes to optimize commercial results.
- Support slot management and coordinate with airport authorities to secure advantageous timings.
- Maintain accurate scheduling data and ensure timely updates to commercial systems
Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Economics, or a related field
- 2-4 years’ experience in airline commercial planning, network planning, or revenue management.
- Experience with airline scheduling and commercial analytics tools preferred
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset.
- Knowledge of airline scheduling principles and commercial impacts.
- Proficiency Microsoft Excel and commercial planning software.
- Ability to interpret market data and passenger demand trends.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to balance commercial objectives with operational constraints.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of airline commercial strategy and revenue management.
- Knowledge of market analysis and competitive benchmarking
- Familiarity with slot coordination and airport regulations from a commercial perspective.
