Compliance Monitoring & Safety Auditor - CAMO
Cyprus Airways is looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate to join our Compliance Monitoring & Safety Department - CAMO in Larnaca.

Key Responsibilities:
- To report to the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Manager- CAMO for all Compliance Monitoring & Safety- CAMO functions and tasks.
- To perform Internal and External Audits on behalf of the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Department- CAMO on all Airworthiness Tasks including Contractors and Subcontractors- within and outside the Country.
- To assist in the preparation, editing, maintenance and control of the Continuing Management Exposition Manual- CAME- and associated Procedures.
- To draft Compliance Monitoring & Safety Department- CAMO Procedures and Forms.
- To review and approve CAMO’s Procedures and Forms and Interface Manual and Procedures with other Contractors and Subcontractors.
- To produce, update and maintain current the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Department- CAMO Checklists as per applicable Regulation requirements- Part CAMO, Part M, Part 145.
- To upload, complete, follow-up and maintain up to date in the SMS360 Audit Module Software the status of all Internal & External Audits and associated Non-Conformances, pertaining to the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Department- CAMO responsibilities.
- To upload, complete, follow-up and maintain up to date in the SMS360 Incidents Module Software all Safety and/or Hazard Reports and associated Investigations, Findings and Actions, pertaining to the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Department- CAMO Safety functions.
- To upload, complete, follow-up and maintain up to date in the EASA Aviation Reporting- ECCAIRS Software all Safety and/or Hazard Reports reported as MORs in the Company’s SMS360 Incident Module in the e5X format, pertaining to the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Department- CAMO Safety functions.
- To liaise with the Nominated Person/s and in general the Departmental Manager/s and other officials in the administration of the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Department- CAMO Audit software- SMS360- pertaining to the Audits Responses (RC, PCA, CA).
- To upload, complete, follow-up and maintain up to date in the SMS360 Risk Management Module Software the status of all Risk Assessments, Management of Changes, and associated Mitigation Actions, pertaining to the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Department- CAMO responsibilities.
- To efficiently raise, keep, file, maintain, update, and follow up of the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Department- CAMO records system as required for the monitoring of required Airworthiness functions- Internal and External Audits both for Operations and Airworthiness, Outstations Audits, IOSA Audits, IFQP Audits, SAFA Audits, Audit Plans & Scopes, Contracted & Subcontracted Organisations, Intranet Administration, Concessions, Codeshares, ACMIs and others.
- To undertake the control, updating and follow up of the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Department- CAMO Auditors’ qualifications, trainings, and assessments.
- To liaise in the communication with the Competent Authority and other Regulatory entities- DCA, EASA, IATA/IOSA, ICAO etc.
- To perform theoretical and/or practical training and/or assessment concerning ‘Pre-Flight Inspections’ (PFI) and issue related PFI Authorisations.
Qualifications:
- Holder of a current EASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence with Type Rating on at least one of the Aircraft Types operated by the Company.
- Attended an approved Auditors Quality Management/ Audit Techniques course- Courses on Root Cause Analysis, Safety Management System (SMS) and Incident Investigation will be considered as added qualifications.
- Have either 5 years of active Certification Authorization or a relative Quality function activity of at least 3 years.
- Awareness of EASA/ DCA requirements that are relative to Continuing Airworthiness experience and maintenance.
- Knowledge of (EU) 1321/2014 Regulations Annex I/II/III/Vc of at least Part CAMO, Part M, Part 145 and on (EU) 748/2012 Annex I- Part 21 Regulations/Legislation requirements.
- Very good knowledge of English and Greek and ability to prepare Compliance/Quality/Safety Audit Reports, Notices and Memos in both languages.
- Confidentiality, strong personality, high integrity, administrative and organising ability, initiative, sound judgement.
- Communication skills and able to communicate with other people at a good level.
- Ability to clearly express an opinion and rationalize it based on rules and facts.
- Very good computer knowledge including Microsoft Office 365.
