CHAP Group are looking for an experienced HR Professional to support the Human Resource Manager by assisting with recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, help maintain employee records and ensuring HR operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
- Assist in posting job openings on various platforms.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.
- Communicate with candidates regarding interview status and next steps.
- Maintain recruitment tracking systems.
Onboarding/Offboarding:
- Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding process for new hires and leavers, including documentation and training schedules
- Prepare new employee induction material
- Ensure new employees have all necessary resources, PPE etc
Employee Records Management:
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy.
- Ensure proper documentation for employee leave, performance reviews, and other HR-related information.
HR Documentation:
- Preparing and managing HR documentation such as employment contracts, amendments to terms, pre-employment checks, and other records
Compliance:
- Ensure HR policies are in line with labour laws and regulations
- Deliver training for Bribery & Corruption and GDPR legislation
- Assist in the preparation of reports for audits, legal compliance, and other HR documentation.
Employee Relations Support:
- Handle day-to-day employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and company procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a positive work environment by supporting team-building activities and events.
Qualifications:
Essential
- Undergraduate degree, or equivalent education level.
- UK Driving licence, preferably clean.
- Right to live and work in the UK required as CHAP do not have the ability to provide visa sponsorship.
Desirable
- HR related qualification/s ( eg CIPD), or currently working toward.
- Business Management qualification, or working toward.
