Bid Writer

The Bid Writer will Provide bid co-ordination throughout the Pre-Construction Department with a focus on pre-qualification questionnaires and quality submissions.

Main tasks:

 

  • Prepare presentations in support of business development and early tender engagement
  • Identify and prepare pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs).
  • Identify and prepare quality submission requirements for tenders.
  • Liaise with Estimating, Commercial, Operations, Planning, SHEQ, etc and external parties to review and prepare content for PQQs, Quality Submissions and similar tender documents.
  • Prepare and format documentation to be included in tenders.
  • Prepare CVs for project personnel and maintain a CV library.
  • Prepare and maintain databases, work processes and libraries of information for PQQs and quality submissions.

 

Qualifications & Compentencies

  • National Grade at level 4 at minimum (or any other equivalent level qualification) in English, a numeracy subject and Business Studies OR previous relevant administration work experience which demonstrates competencies in these subjects.
  • Driving licence
  • Previous similar experience within corporate communications/business development role.
  •  Excellent personal communication skills in spoken and written English.Strong corporate communications background.
  • Experience of document coordination and document control.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook.
