TUS Airways is inviting candidates to submit their CV applications for the following position which must fulfil the requirements below:

Technical Services Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

·       Ensure compliance of all delegated work and requirements of the TUS CAMO with manufacturer and regulatory requirements as well as compliant to Annex Vc P-CAMO.

·       Oversight that recommendations made by subcontracting CAMO organisation as per the IPM.

·       Focal point for the contracted Part 145 organisations.

·       All maintenance works are performed with the latest Approved Maintenance Program and standards and on time.

·       The service bulletins are analysed and decisions taken for accomplishment or not and are documented and tracked.

·       The maintenance contracts are acceptable and written in line with Part-CAMO requirements.

·       All maintenance is carried out by an Approved EASA Part 145 maintenance organisation.

·       Work orders are issued for unscheduled maintenance.

·       Both operational and emergency equipment are in an airworthy and serviceable condition.

·       The pre-flight inspection is accomplished and furthermore determines the content of the pre-flight inspection.

·       Any defect and/or damage affecting the safe operation, taking into account the MEL / CDL , has been rectified to an approved standard.

·       The Maintenance Program approved is complied.

·       Ensures control and management of the ADD’s as well as ordering & managing the spares required to clear the ADD’s.

·       The areas of responsibility are with respect to the Base and line maintenance of the TUS fleet and that all required maintenance obligations are undertaken to acceptable standards of safety and Compliance and ensures full compliance with EASA Annex Vc Part-CAMO and Part-145 by ensuring that TUS carries out its responsibilities for EASA Part-CAMO oversight of its contracted Maintenance organisations.

·       Organising that base and line maintenance pre-input meetings with contracted Providers take place at appropriate times in order to establish clarity with respect to downtimes, work specifications, materials requirements and individual responsibilities.

·       Responsible for following up with regarding to findings raised from ACAM/ SANA/ SACA/ SAFA inspections.

·       Ensure no flight takes place unless:

o   The aircraft is maintained in an airworthy condition.

o   Any operational and emergency equipment fitted is correctly installed and serviceable or clearly identified as unserviceable.

o   The airworthiness certificate remains valid.

o   The maintenance of the aircraft is performed in accordance with the approved maintenance program as specified in EASA Part-CAMO.

·       Co-operates with the DCA and assisting auditing duties and ensures that all non-conformities with established procedures and standards are corrected in an appropriate and timely manner.

·       Aircraft maintenance data control through Airbus World and delegate access to Engineering and Part 145 staff. Update the Revision list when notification of manual update received.

·       Responsible person for the aircraft records and archive room.

·       Comply with the safety, security and compliance duties and responsibilities detailed in Chapter 3 of the MSM.

·       Any other duty as assigned by the Engineering Manager / NP Continuous Airworthiness.

Requirements and Qualifications:

·       Must hold a university or college degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical engineering or an Aircraft Maintenance Part 66 license.

·       Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of Continued Airworthiness or Maintenance.

·       Training requirements based on EASA regulation EU 1321/2014, Human Factor, EWIS, Fuel Tank Safety, Aircraft General Familiarization and Compliance audit techniques training.

·       Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.

·       A comprehensive knowledge of:

o   Relevant parts of operational requirements and procedures.

o   CAME.

o   The operation specification of company’s AOC.

o   Relevant parts of the Operation Manual-A.

·       Knowledge of Compliance systems.

·       Knowledge of relevant type(s) of aircraft through a formalized training course.

·       Knowledge of applicable regulations (Basic Regulation (EC) 2018/1139, Commission Regulation (EC) 1321/2014 and Commission Regulation (EC) 748/2012, etc.

·       Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written

·       Ability to work under pressure

·       Ability to work within a team

·       Computer literate

·       Right to live and work in the EU

Head of Accounts

Head of Accounts

The Head of Accounts leads and oversees the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, timely statutory compliance (VAT, VIES, INTRASTAT), reliable financial reporting, and effective management of the accounts team. The role combines hands-on technical accounting expertise with team leadership and cross-departmental coordination within an aviation business environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Financial Operations & Accounting

  • Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes, supplier invoice management, and SOA reconciliations.
  • Manage petty cash & coordinate bank reconciliations, payment authorizations, and liaison with banks.
  • Maintain and update the fixed asset register, process depreciation and disposal entries.
  • Oversee monthly provisions (e.g. handling and ground service providers, rerouted flights, and other operational provisions) and ensure accuracy of supplier billing against contract terms.
  • Review and process accounting entries for IFRS 16 leases, rent and common expenses, realized and unrealized foreign exchange gains/losses, and suspense account corrections.
  • Perform monthly review and correction of balance sheet accounts (prepayments, other receivables, provisions, P&L accounts).
  • Coordinate audit adjustments and ensure correct accounting treatment of audit findings.
  • Upload and maintain exchange rates and ensure accurate month-end closing procedures.
  • Tax & Statutory Compliance
  • Prepare and submit monthly VIES declarations within statutory deadlines.
  • Prepare, review, and submit periodic VAT returns (via TFA) in line with Cyprus VAT regulations.
  • Verify supplier VAT registrations through the VIES system when required.
  • Ensure correct transaction coding (VAT code, transaction type, accounting period) across the accounts team's postings prior to VAT period closure.
  • Prepare and submit periodic statistical (ICAO, IATA and etc.) and Central Bank reports, and other regulatory statistical submissions.
  • Lead, train, and support the accounts team, providing guidance on accounting procedures and correct transaction posting.
  • Resolve escalated finance-related queries from other departments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the accounting system (E-soft or equivalent ERP).
  • Establish and maintain clear internal controls and review processes across the accounts function.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the CFO on finance operational matters and statutory reporting.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent) will be considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team-lead capacity.
  • Proven experience with full-cycle accounting: AP/AR, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, provisions, and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Solid hands-on experience with VAT and VIES compliance within Cyprus/EU regulatory frameworks.
  • Prior experience in the aviation, travel, or logistics industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with ERP/accounting systems (E-soft or similar) and statutory e-filing portals (TFA, SisNet).
  • Experience with payroll processes and coordination with HR and government/social insurance authorities is a strong advantage.
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 16 (leases).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to review and validate large, complex datasets accurately.
  • Solid understanding of foreign exchange accounting (realized/unrealized gains and losses).
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines under a demanding, deadline-driven regulatory environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with banks, tax authorities, auditors, and internal departments.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to resolving operational and system issues.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Other languages (Greek, Hebrew, Russian) will be considered an asset.
