  3. Valid A320 type rating
  4. Valid EASA ATPL(A) Holder

Technical Services Engineer

TUS Airways is inviting candidates to submit their CV applications for the following position which must fulfil the requirements below:

Technical Services Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance of all delegated work and requirements of the TUS CAMO with the Manufacturer and the Regulatory Requirements as well as compliant to Part-CAMO and Part-M
  • Coordinate with the subcontracted MCC
  • Ensure that the contracted Part-145 organizations are selected as per TUS procedures
  • Maintain the list of the contracted Part-145 organizations up to date
  • Focal point for contracted Part 145 organizations
  • Liaison between TUS CAMO and TUS Part-145
  • Ensure that maintenance contracts are acceptable, updated and written in line with Part-CAMO/M requirements
  • Monitor defects and deferred defects and ensure troubleshooting and rectification are performed on time, considering the SPTs, operational schedule and aircraft ground time
  • Ensure control and management of the deferred defects as well as ordering & managing the spares required to clear the deferred defects
  • Participate in the base and line maintenance pre-input meetings with contracted Providers coordinating downtimes, work specifications, materials requirements and individual responsibilities
  • Follow-up on findings raised from ACAM/SANA/SACA/SAFA inspections and product audits, and ensure on time closure and that these findings are not repeated across the fleet
  • Coordinate and assist technical records filling by contracted Part-145
  • Liaise with the MCC and TUS Part-145 as per Procurement procedures
  • Coordinate with the Procurement and Logistics
  • Liaison between procurement and Part-145 Stores
  • Coordinate communication and actions between TUS and suppliers and vendors
  • Coordinate the use of FAK (Fly Away Kit)
  • Comply with the safety, security and compliance duties and responsibilities detailed in Chapter 3 of the MSM
  • Any other duty as assigned by the Engineering Manager / NP Continuous Airworthiness

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must hold a university or college degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical engineering or an Aircraft Maintenance Part 66 license (A320 endorsement is desirable)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of Continued Airworthiness or Maintenance
  • Knowledge of A320 through a formalized Level 1 or Level 3 training course will be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations (Basic Regulation (EC) 2018/1139, Commission Regulation (EC) 1321/2014 and Commission Regulation (EC) 748/2012, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Computer literate
  • Right to live and work in the EU
