Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant, who will be providing administrative and bookkeeping support to the Supervisor, by handling billing and account receivable tasks. The successful candidate should possess exceptional organizational and time management skills, and experience working successfully in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include maintaining daily worksheets and general ledger system, maintain and complete files and records as needed, assist with accounts payable and receivable duties, and provide general administrative support to management team and accounting department personnel. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail. Applicants with experience and familiarity in a similar role are strongly encouraged to apply.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Process bills for payment
  • Process supplier invoices
  • Issue invoices to the customers
  • Monitoring payments in accordance with payment terms, and updating Sales department
  • Chase for debts
  • Reconciliation of post-flight information and data
  • Maintain files and electronic records
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed
  • Update and maintain accounts database
  • Track and resolve accounting problems and discrepancies as needed

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in Accounting/Finance, economics, or any relevant field
  • At least 2 years’ experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper
  • Excellent computer literacy

Revenue Accounts Supervisor

Revenue Accounts Supervisor

We are looking for a Revenue Accounts Supervisor who is the main contact and liaison between commercial and finance departments’ staff for all initiatives and projects that may impact revenue accounting. The Revenue Accounts Supervisor provides support related to business and technical advice in all commercial initiatives and IATA changes, as well as system changes to drive compliance to regulatory, accounting and company policies to minimize potential financial risk and exposures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and establish the affected business processes and revenue accounting system changes required to ensure complaint to industry reporting standards
  • Ensure enough controls over the potential financial risks and exposure
  • Manage business users, IATA, BSP and other sales channels
  • Record sales, collections, review General ledgers, reconcile and clear the customer’ accounts
  • Check and record the tax accrual with sales in accordance with every country’s polices and regulations
  • Responsible for processing airline accounting invoices received
  • Track contract renewals and work closely with Sales team on status of existing customer accounts
  • Research cash receipts, coding and the posting of receipts
  • Participate in the month-end close process with the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and various analyses, Deferred Revenue and Revenue by Customer reconciliations and analyses
  • Support the quarterly reviews and annual audit requests
  • Serve as the primary contact for external auditors for revenue accounting.
  • Review the tickets which have been issued or refunded.
  • Manage Revenue accounting System 
  • Manage Interline Billing and Rejection Memo in accordance with IATA rules 
  • Manage ticket proration through revenue accounting system in accordance with filling rules 
  • Assist in development and implementation of new and/or upgraded financial systems
  • Ensure adherence to revenue recognition policies and procedures
  • Data capture and processing of flight coupon data for the accountancy and balance of an airline
  • Provide internal training if necessary

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in Accounting/Finance, economics or any relevant field
  • Relevant certification will be considered an asset
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Revenue Accountant, Revenue analyst, Revenue Officer, Accountant or similar role
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  3. Valid A320 type rating
  4. Valid EASA ATPL(A) Holder
  5. Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
  6. English language Proficiency Level 4 or above
  7. Clean Criminal Record
  8. Eligible to live and work in the EU

*Please Note: Pilots with less than 1000 hours in total as Pilot in Command in Jet powered, Performance Class A Aircraft over 50T MTOW, who meet items 3 to 8 above may be eligible,  having successfully passed our relevant additional Command training.
