As part of our continuous growth and development, we are currently looking to reinforce our Client’s Accounting department with a Senior Accountant.

 

Main Responsibilities 

  •   Lead a team of accountants and overview all the client Accounting services which include:

ü  Preparation of the accounting records and the book-keeping of the clients in accordance with international financial reporting standards

ü  Preparation of clients’ payroll on a monthly basis

ü  Preparation of unaudited financial statements with Caseware

·         Liaise with the clients, their lawyers and auditors and meet their needs and requirements on a continuous basis

 

The Requirements

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

·         Qualified ACA or ACCA

·         A Degree in Accounting or Finance

·         At least 3 years previous work experience in a similar position

·         Familiarity with Income Tax

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English language

·         Strong computer literacy and excellent knowledge of all Microsoft office applications

·         Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, professional discipline and willingness to assume responsibility

·         Knowledge of Caseware software

·         Previous knowledge with software Intellisoft will be considered as advantage

Main Responsibilities

  • Management and daily administration of a portfolio of companies
  • Drafting and reviewing of corporate documents
  • Assisting and handling the administrative part of transactions
  • Ongoing and effective communication with clients
  • Preparation of all necessary documents for the formation of a new company
  • Registration of companies at the Registrar of companies, with the completion of various forms
  • Supporting the the electronic filing system integration. 
  • Compliance and assistance with all ‘KYC’ procedures and policies of the firm
  • Maintenance of internal records ensuring they are always updated
  • Assisting with filing of data, documents / relevant forms and applications with public authorities
  • Dealing with the annotation of the UBO registry kept with the Registrar as well as of the trust registry kept with CySEC

The Requirements

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in secretarial studies and/or diploma or certificate on corporate governance and administration
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English language
  • Knowledge of the AML regulations and application of KYC compliance procedures will be considered as advantage

The position

 • Assist clients in the procedure of opening corporate and/or personal bank accounts in Cyprus and/or             abroad

Gather, review and prepare the information and due diligence documentation required

Complete the necessary bank forms for the account opening and all other matters related to corporate           /personal bank account

Manage clients bank accounts on their behalf

Prepare bank analysis/reports and advice clients accordingly

Sustain the firm’s strong relationships with the local and international banking network

Keep the clients’ files up-to- date

Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure effective processing of all tasks 

 

The Requirements

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements: 

At least 2 years of experience in a similar position

Understanding of Compliance /’Know your client’ requirements 

Ability to work under pressure

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments

The Requirements

The successful candidate needs to meet the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and/or LCCI Higher Certificate in Accounting is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of client-focused accounting experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Intelisoft Aphrodite accounting software is a distinct advantage.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Proven ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality regarding financial information.
