Ground Operations Supervisor
Cyprus Airways is looking for dynamic and motivated candidate to join our Ground Operations Department at Larnaca Airport.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise ground handling activities at Larnaca airport (to include Passenger, Baggage, Cargo and Ramp handling), to ensure they are conducted in a manner that meets the company’s standards, operational safety and security requirements
- Supervise aircraft cleaning
- Monitor weight and balance functions
- Provide assistance and information to Cyprus Airways customers
- Supervise Lost and Found activities and handling of mishandled baggage
- Provide quick and effective solutions in case of operational irregularities
- Assist passengers during delays or disruptions in line with Company policy
- Assist the Management with the handling of customer service issues, by investigating and reporting back to customer services in HQ.
- Any other duty assigned by the Ground Operations Manager
Qualifications & Experience:
- Preferably a University Degree or Diploma or other equivalent qualification in an appropriate subject
- A minimum of 1-year experience in Ground Handling or Airport Operations - experience in Load Control functions will be considered as an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of both Greek and English
- Must be an excellent team player
- Demonstrating dedication, high sense of responsibility, making real-time decisions and managing multiple priorities
- Acting properly without supervision
- Must have strong personality, integrity, sound judgment, initiative, self-motivation, loyalty, and commitment to the organisation
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedural manuals
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Must be able to obtain & maintain required Airport identification/security passes;
- Ability to work in all kinds of weather
- Possess/maintain a valid driver license
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Computer Literate
- Military service obligations served (for male only)
- Ability to work on shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
