About the role:

C&W Interiors designs spaces that enrich everyday life - creating environments where people connect, create and thrive.

Following continued growth, exciting project wins and the ongoing expansion of our interiors team, we’re looking for a talented Graduate Interior Designer to join us in our Leeds Studio.

As a Graduate Interior Designer in the C&W Interiors team, you will support the design and delivery of exciting projects across a range of sectors, working alongside experienced designers and project teams to create thoughtful, innovative and high-quality interior environments. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, gain exposure to all stages of the design process and build a successful career within a growing interiors team.

This role is ideal if you want to:

Develop your design, technical and project delivery skills across a variety of projects.

Contribute to concept development, space planning, visualisation and presentation work.

Learn from experienced designers and gain exposure to client-facing projects.

Assist in the production of drawing packages, presentations and project documentation.

Build a strong understanding of the interior design process from brief through to completion.

What you will bring to the team:

A passion for design and a desire to create inspiring and functional interior environments.

Strong communication and organisational skills with a proactive and collaborative approach.

An eye for detail and a willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, or a willingness to develop these skills.

BA (or equivalent) in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related design discipline.

0-3 years' experience within an interior design or architectural practice, including relevant placement experience.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team while taking ownership of individual tasks and responsibilities.

Following continued growth, exciting project wins and the ongoing expansion of our interiors team, we’re looking for a talented Associate Interior Designer to join us in our Leeds Studio.

As an Associate Interior Designer in the C&W Interiors team, you will play a key role in leading projects, building client relationships and shaping exceptional interior environments across a diverse range of sectors. Working closely with our leadership team, you will oversee projects from concept through to completion, mentor designers and help drive continued growth.

This role is ideal if you want to:

Lead the design and delivery of high-quality interior projects across multiple sectors.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

Inspire, mentor and develop talented designers within a collaborative team environment.

What you will bring to the team:

Commercial awareness with experience managing project programmes, budgets and consultant teams.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist to join our talented and motivated team in the Birmingham Studio, stepping into an established role within our friendly and collaborative team.

As a Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist, you will enjoy an interesting mix of responsibilities, including:

Producing high quality technical drawings and supporting documentation in line with Corstorphine & Wright’s Quality Management procedures

Acting as Project Manager where required, ensuring technical services are delivered efficiently, on time and within budget

Maintaining up to date knowledge of legislation, Building Regulations, Building Bulletins and Health & Safety requirements

Ensuring full implementation of Corstorphine & Wright’s Quality Management System

Managing the production of detailed design drawings, working drawings, schedules and specifications using CAD and/or BIM

Arranging project reviews to help resolve technical challenges

Maintaining accurate project records through CMAP (with training provided)

Ensuring clear understanding of Appointment Documents, Scopes of Services and construction contract obligations

Reporting potential PI claims or risks to Directors

Mentoring junior technical team members and supporting their development

Attending project, studio and site meetings and ensuring high quality communication across all parties

Managing confidential information appropriately

Supporting the maintenance of strong relationships with clients, contractors, colleagues and external stakeholders

About you

We are looking for candidates who possess the following experience and skills:

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience delivering projects independently through multiple RIBA stages 

Strong BIM and CAD capability with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD 

HNC/HND in a related discipline, or significant relevant professional experience 

Membership of CIAT or working towards chartered status 

Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and associated technical standards 

Ability to manage workload, make clear decisions and meet demanding deadlines 

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and share knowledge 

Experience liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and third parties 

Strong organisational and planning skills 

Excellent communication skills

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Architect to join our talented and motivated team in the Birmingham Studio, stepping into an established role within our friendly and collaborative team.

As a Senior Architect, you will enjoy an interesting mix of responsibilities, including:

Leading the design and delivery of building projects from concept through to completion

Producing detailed architectural drawings by hand and using specialist BIM and CAD software

Managing and guiding project teams to deliver architectural services to agreed deadlines

Working within planning, environmental and budgetary constraints to shape viable project solutions

Liaising with construction professionals to deliver complex and challenging schemes

Leading coordination with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, project managers, QSs and technologists

Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with clients

Overseeing the submission of planning applications and liaising with Building Control and other statutory bodies

Preparing and presenting reports, design proposals and key stage submissions

Developing project briefs in collaboration with clients

Adapting plans in response to changing circumstances and resolving design challenges

Managing project workflow, resources and team delivery

Undertaking site visits, attending client and consultant meetings and representing the practice professionally

Maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and ensuring ongoing professional development

About you

High levels of creativity and strong conceptual design capability 

Proven experience delivering projects using CAD and BIM

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain a strategic overview 

Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
