Right now, we are looking to hire a Development Manager, to join Chartway Living, out of our offices in Crawley.

Chartway Living specialise in the investment and Development, across the UK Living Sector, including Single Family Rental (SFR), Build to Rent (BTR), and Senior Living.

About The Role…

As our Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for support the development and processes of SFR Development and Land Promotion.

You’ll work directly with the Head of SFR , supporting in the delivery of development projects. You’ll generate new business, and seek out suitable SFR sites, land promotion opportunities, delivering sites from inception, through planning and to completion & hand over.

You will be responsible for managing external consultants and advisors, liaising with investors, managing complex budgets, as well as helping to create & set up relevant departmental processes.

About the Role:

As our Digital Content Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind the digital presence of Chartway Partnerships Group. You’ll own the delivery and coordination of content across all digital channels—ranging from external social media accounts and websites to internal communication platforms like SharePoint.

Your role will involve creating engaging content and eye-catching graphics, optimising digital journeys, and refining the online user experience to align with our strategic goals.

You’ll monitor trends, analyse competitor content, and provide actionable insights for ongoing optimization. If you have a strong understanding of SEO, digital journey development, and experience with CMS management, this role could be the perfect fit for you to thrive and grow with us!

Chartway building Supplies one of the Kents leading Construction / Builders’ merchants and right now, we’re looking for an experienced HGV Driver, to join our Building supplies team, based out of our Yard in Queensborough ME11.

 

The Role:
As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we'll be responsible for safely delivering deliver building materials to our customers & various Chartway Sites in a professional and friendly manner. 

You'll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and as well as supporting other team members when needed, allowing you to have an incredibly varied role.

Please note, this role will require weekend working every other Saturday, 0700-1200

About The Role…

As Chartway’s Land Buyer, you will support the Land Managers and Land Director to acquire residential and mixed-use sites in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, and Essex.

You will be maintaining relationships with land agents and promoters to generate new opportunities for the group, then manage the end to end bid process for new sites, including briefing and managing internal teams.

You’ll be responsible for running appraisal scenarios on new pipleline sites, updating and managing the group land tracker and supporting the legal and compliance processes for site purchases i.e. drafting Board purchase packs, drafting and reviewing Heads of Terms, reading land purchase contracts, responding to enquiries.

As Land Manager, you’ll be actively seeking out land opportunities whether via enquiries, searches or direct approaches, overseeing negotiations and evaluating development potentials and site feasibility. You will be responsible for preparing offers for submission as well as preparing Land Purchase Approval Packs for submission to board for approval.

You’ll attend regular Land Meetings with the Land Team and Land Director and collectively, update the wider business teams with the current position on potential acquisitions/negotiations. You’ll also be responsible for preparing and circulating New Site briefing notes to colleagues.

As Planning Manager, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and full Planning service across the Group of Chartway companies, providing a range of key services including early-stage planning and development appraisals, preparation, and submissions of planning applications as well as s106/planning condition monitoring, submissions, and compliance.

You will undertake site assessments and conduct detailed examinations of planning histories. You’ll support our Land & Planning team with the preparation and project management of different types of planning applications, including the discharge of planning conditions and amendment applications.
