Position: Assistant AML Officer

Location: Nicosia

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying, examining and reporting any suspicious activities related to money laundering and terrorist financing.
Provide assistance to the AMLCO including update of the AML software, update of AML manual and update of internal controls and procedures.
Conducting client Reviews and update of Client Permanent Files as part of the Know Your Customer and Client Due Diligence Procedures for new and existing customers.
Communicating with clients and updating client files within the AML software, risk classification and escalating cases to the AML Officer.
Provide constructive feedback to the staff following quality review of KYC files.
Communication with staff in relation to AML matters.
Assisting the AMLCO in Managing the CRM/AML software of the organization.
Clear and to the point reporting to the AMLCO for Compliance matters.

Entry Requirements:

University Graduate. (Degree in law/business/accounting or related field will be considered an advantage).
Well organized, results oriented and attention to detail.
Ability to learn and implement the relevant procedures and processes within the organization.
Excellent teamwork, project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
IT Literate.
Fluent knowledge of the Greek and English language (written & spoken), any other language skills will be considered an advantage.
Relevant qualifications/certifications (e.g. CYSEC AML certificate) will be considered an advantage.
Previous Experience with AML/CFT regulations or AML software Moebius will be considered an advantage.
